Food and service was great!! All 4 of us enjoyed our breakfast today. Nice and clean. Good location

The food was very bland (I ordered the pasta) Also the waiters and the owner were very rude! I had went there one time (with a bad experience) and then I had went there a second time thinking it was gonna be different boy was I wrong! I had found a hair in my food and when I brought it to the waiter the owner came to the table very upset and told me "if I don't like it don't come back" so I will not be returning. If I can give it zero stars I would.

Hubby & I stopped in as we were looking for a light lunch. We were not overly impressed. We did not have to wait for a table.The server was not very friendly. The hostess was not friendly at all.The menu is quite extensive!I ordered the beef Philly sandwich & broccoli cheddar soup. Hubby ordered the gyro sandwich and fries. Our meals were better than they looked.The gyro meat was definitely out of a freezer. My beef Philly sandwich was covered in too much cheese & the meat could have been more moist. A disappointment.

Our server was very pleasant and seemed to know most of the people in the place. This is clearly a restaurant frequented by the locals, but they were very nice to us out-of-towners. So, I wish I could say nicer things about the food. My open-faced turkey sandwich tasted like it was made from entirely packaged food--canned gravy and a turkey loaf rather than anything homemade. It might be worth trying again at breakfast, but I was sorely disappointed at the lunch.

I had lukewarm chili that belonged on a hot dog and I ordered a tuna sandwich (I requested that it be toasted) that was incredibly dry. I ate about half and gave up. My sister got the chicken wrap and her plate soon swam with oil/grease. My dad liked his hot meatloaf sandwich smothered in gravy.The service was fine but I wish the server would have asked if we wanted our soup first or not (when it was chosen as a side option). I ate half the chili (before giving up) and was then served a very small, sad looking plate with a lonely old crusty sandwich on it.

A great breakfast spot! Nicollet cafe is run by friendly people and their service is very fast. This is one of my favorite places to stop for brunch on a weekend & is right down the hill from Gustavus Adolphus College. I usually order the mushroom and cheese omelet, and sometimes their pancakes as well. I have been here a handful of times and everyone I have brought with me has always loved their meals.

Nice cozy place. Good prices. Not fancy but tasty. Kids loved the chocolate chip pancakes. I had the soup and a BLT. Husband had French toast and liked it. Cute decor. Clean bathrooms. Desserts to go looked really good.

Great for Breakfast!!! Nice & Friendly for folks traveling or passing through town. My wife had the liver & Onions and loved it

The service here is fantastic! We were greeted the moment we walked through the door and were seated very quickly even though staff were obviously hopping with the lunch rush. The booths are cozy and the place made us feel like we were one of the locals, even though it was our first time visiting. Was the food the tastiest I've ever had? No, but it met our expectations for a good "greasy spoon" kind of joint. Will definitely visit again when passing through St Peter.

Amazing food and wonderful service! There breakfast and coffee are the best I've had in town several times without fail delicious!
