This Farmers Market is open 3rd Wednesdays of the winter months (thru April 21st) 3pm-7pm in the New Brighton Community Center: 400 10th St NE, New Brighton. Park in the back of the Community Center & enter by the Library entrance. Covid-precautions in effect here-so bring your mask! It's not packed with vendors (since it's winter in Minnesota) but it's a great opportunity to really support our local food providers. I've included some of my favorite finds in the photos included in this review.Come check it out on a Wednesday afternoon!

The New Brighton Farmer's Market is one of the best things to happen locally. There are multiple produce vendors to choose from with fresh produce, activities and awesome food. The Seminary where it's held is usually selling oven fired pizzas. The Hickory Hog food truck is usually a staple there as well. On hot days, there is ice cream or frio frio to cool you down. The people are friendly and quite nice. There are a couple fresh baked breads being sold that are delicious. Do they have crafters? Why, yes they do! from hand made glass items to jewelry to cleaning products. It seem they have it all being sold there. As a side perk, they have a gym and a couple pokestops for those Pokémon Go players. Overall, it's a great place to hang out at.

One of the worst farmers markets I've been to. And I go to alot of them around the cities! There are literally 2 farmers there with produce, and everything else is people trying to sell their goods. It's pretty sad they call this a farmers market. Parking is also terrible. They close off the entire lot so people are required to park on the street and cross over a grassy hill on foot to get to it. Absolutely no handicapped parking for people who need it. I saw a man on a walker crossing over the grass and trying to get down the hill because there was no close parking opened. They literally block it all off with orange cones. For what reason?! It's not in use! It makes no sense that they make people struggle like this. Then they get there, and it's a waste of time. Someone is clueless. New Brighton should be ashamed.

Not enough fresh produce available. Market focuses on kids activities instead of fresh produce. Now it's located at the community center and traffic and parking are awful. Nice effort but they have a ways to go.
