This is a new HOT spot! Watch out Benihana & you don't walk out stinky. Very clean open & spacious. Tried vegetable gyoza aka (pot stickers), onion soup & hibachi steak with fried rice. I will give this place a 10 and they have mochi donuts.

Nagoya Sushi in Golden Valley is a great spot for sushi lovers and an excellent choice for large parties. The space is massive, clean, and welcoming, making it perfect for group gatherings. There's also a convenient parking lot shared with other shops, so finding a spot is easy. Service was SUPER fast! While you can choose to do all-you-can-eat, there is also an option for à la carte (traditional order from the menu and pay the listed price) which we opted for! The sushi was fantastic--each roll was cut perfectly, and the flavors were beautifully balanced between sweet, spicy, and savory. We tried the Black Dragon and American Dream rolls, both of which were delicious.I also had the Spicy Seafood Ramen, which was visually stunning! While it wasn't my all-time favorite ramen, it was still a solid dish, especially for those who enjoy a little spice. The sparkling sake was another highlight, with a flavor reminiscent of sparkling apple juice. If anyone in your group likes something sweeter, this is a fun and interesting option to try. With its variety of options and inviting atmosphere, Nagoya Sushi is a fantastic spot for a casual night out or a celebration. It's definitely worth a visit!

Nagoya is a relatively new restaurant, located in the strip mall at Highway 55 and Winnetka Ave in Golden Valley. My daughter and her husband highly recommended this restaurant for the all you can eat sushi. At lunch time, they have a much less expensive all you can eat option, but they don't have the price posted online, and I don't remember the price. The lunch I got was the a box lunch with Miso Soup, Chicken Teriyaki, Fried Rice, and sauteed vegetables. The highlight for me was the Miso mushroom soup. Although I'll admit that the photo I took does not do it justice, it honestly was the best Miso soup that I ever tasted. It has just a deep, satisfying broth with earthy mushroom flavor. It was a 10 out of 10.The chicken teriyaki and fried rice was tasty, but it didn't knock my socks off. I really do need to go back to this restaurant and try the lunch special all you can eat sushi option. That's what they are known for. The service was very pleasant as was the ambiance of the restaurant. It's worth another try. Based on what I had, I'd rate it three stars, but knowing what I didn't try and the good reviews from my daughter and her husband, I will add an extra star for now, with an additional or revised review in the future.

Vibes: Date night / friends / family Food: We did the all you can eat sushi during lunch. There were so many options on the all you can eat menu. Cost: $40/ per person Experience: overall it was good! Lots of easy parking and the space is beautifully decorated inside. Staff took our order on an iPad which was efficient.

My husband and I had a wonderful dining experience here for our first time Saturday evening. We ordered off the all you can eat menu. It's approximately $40 per person. The restaurant is very spacious and clean. There is a large free parking lot located in the front. We were seated right away and the food didn't take too long to come out after. I really enjoyed the sparkling sake, the salt and pepper shrimp and of course the spicy salmon hand roll. However we didn't enjoy the shrimp and veggie tempura. The beef ramen and the chicken skewers. Overall we had a good dining experience here and I would recommend if you're looking for good food and good service!

The place is very spacious and parking was quite easy. The service was very good. The servers all had tablets of some sort for placing orders, so they didn't miss the occasional dish, like most other AYCE places. They came back frequently to check our drinks and get our new orders. They have the standard sushi AYCE dishes. I was a bit disappointed in the miso soup being a bit bland, the chicken wings were small, and the pork belly in the ramen was burnt. I'm usually super excited about takoyaki, but it was a little cold and very battery here. I did really enjoy their nigiri. Mackerel is my favorite, and we got some big pieces on the rice. I would definitely eat that again. The mochi donuts were also really tasty.

My daughter picked this place for her birthday dinner. It's located in the strip mall in golden valley and there was plenty of parking. We had a reservation but the place was fairly empty at 5:15 on a Monday so we got seated right away. This place just opened so it's clean and new. The atmosphere is casual and the waitstaff is attentive. It's the same entrance for both the sushi and the mochinut donuts where they have so e donuts in the shelf. We were debating between a la carte or all you can eat and went with the all you can eat. Ordered a whole bunch of stuff and the food was ok. Some standouts but otherwise just average as far as taste and presentation. The poke ball and the sashimi was good. The Mongolian beef and the calamari were ok. The rolls were decent, we didn't care for the Hawai or the XXXX roll. The angry dragon was pretty good. The rock shrimp and edamame were good. The shrimp tempura not as much. The chicken katsu I found to be a little dry but the shrimp tempura hand roll wasn't bad. The birthday girl enjoyed her ramen and cucumber roll which is why we were there so that was definitely a hit.Overall, this was a decent value for money but there are definitely better options for sushi in town and while the all you can eat will fill you up for sure, I might not necessarily satiate your cravings.

I've been waiting for this place to open up for so long! So happy to have a new restaurant open up in Golden Valley, especially a sushi one because I love sushi! The restaurant is nicely decorated, clean and modern. The menu has a great mix of sushi, hibachi and a nice lunch special!I tried the two roll lunch special and enjoyed the shrimp tempura roll. We will be back, especially when they open the other part of their business (mochinut).

Super spacious and clean. Very welcoming. When you first enter the location. This is a new place and we were excited to try it. $40 for ayce dinner which isn't too bad .I was actually very amazed on what's included. You can get poke bowls , matcha shaved ice , ramen and more . The presentation of the food is super nice and everything looks delicious. I love Takoyaki but their Takoyaki is a bit bland. I would recommend their fried tofu and peppered tuna. The bbq eel fried rice was good and if you ask they will give you a side of yum yum sauce . The sashimi slices are nice and thick . Overall good food and we will be back.

Nagoya is amazing. The staff they have in 2025 are incredibly friendly and super attentive. The food was incredible also. Very high quality, with Michelin-level presentation (flowers, sauces, the works) This is definitely one of the top Sushi destinations in Minneapolis.
