Really nice stay in a king room in the Promenade Tower. We were there for a gala and planned ahead to stay over night. No complaints.

My hubby and I always have so much fun when we come here!! We recently had a 'staycation' for his birthday and he also got to do his birthday spin !! Once we're done playing the tables & slots, we end the night with their wings and nachos to bring up to the room. Our sweet treat is typically during our 'break' from playing. I've met so many kind people when I'm playing on the slots or even the nice guy that runs the store by the lobby! We'll be back for our anniversary in February

I was surprised to get an upgraded room to a suite when I checked in to treat myself to an overnight Thanksgiving weekend. Beautiful room with a great view. Room was super spacious with a couple of sodas and water bottles in the fridge. Quiet end room with a super comfortable bed.

I always enjoy my stay here. The staff in every aspect is friendly and helpful. However, with my most recent stay, the room was not as clean as I would like. They need to pay more attention to the details if dusting better. Many people have allergies and dust is a big one. My travel companion woke up with dust allergy related issues. Breathing, eyes, throat- the room was not dusted very well - room 1570

We stayed at the Mystic Hotel while attending the Price is Right Live and the hotel was super nice. I wish the parking was a little closer, but with casinos I understand how much traffic and vehicles they get. They do offer valet for a certain cost or if you are a high end cars member. We got a 2 queen bed room and had a mini fridge and large window view of the parking lot.

Very, very comfortable and clean hotel and casino giving you a wonderful staying option if one of the downtown Minneapolis hotels is not your thing. The casino is quite impressive with no shortage of slots, table games and video machines. The theater seems to offer a steady lineup of recognizable entertainers. The only shortcoming, and it isn't a big one by any means, is the selection of restaurants. The steakhouse is quite nice. There is also a cafeteria style restaurant at the entrance of the casino and a very small food court area but that is about it. I can see one running out of options if the stay is anything more than two days. But I must add that the casino is smoke free which is a major plus and the property isn't too terribly far from downtown if you to choose to venture out to eat. Overall a very nice place.

In town for a business function. I'm very impressed with the King room. It has everything you need including a mini fridge, ironing board and lot of USB/Power options around the room. I've already enjoyed the casino which is smoke free and the food has been fantastic.

I recently stayed at the Mystic Lake Hotel & Casino for a professional conference. My stay lasted four nights and my hotel room was nice: a mini-fridge; ironing board and iron; ample AC and USB power outlets; television with on-demand movies, Google casting (from your device to screen), and most cable stations; a large bathroom with tiled step-in showers; easy temperature control; and, great views. Conference facilities: The conference facilities were great. There was sufficient room for attendees to move around among all the meeting rooms and the ballrooms. Great signage throughout the hotel provide ease of finding meeting rooms.Restaurants: Three sit-down restaurants - Minnehaha Cafe (in the main lobby), Mystic Steakhouse (just inside the casino); and, The Meadows Bar & Grille (near the golf course) - are all great and offer some diversity. There are also several fast food spots - The Promenade restaurants (a deli, a fast food spot, and a noodle place), Sweet Temptations for ice cream and treats; and, Caribou Coffee with great coffee options as well as some great baked goods. I ate at each at one time or another and found every server to be kind, engaging, and professional. I enjoyed each of my meals.Casino: I did not spend much time in the casino, but was impressed by its cleanliness and that the main casino is smoke-free (although there is a dedicated room in the casino for smokers).Overall: The property is beautiful. There is artwork and imagery all around. (Above the Minnehaha Cafe, silhouetted scenes of the Native American experience abound.) The history of the hotel and casino is beautifully displayed in the main lobby along with several contemporary contributions to the community by the Mystic Lake Hotel & Casino. The pool and golf course are well maintained and clearly popular among guests and visitors. I hope to bring my family back some day to experience Mystic Lake again.

BE WARNED! AVOID AT ALL COST! This entire hotel is unsanitary and infested with BED BUGS. Stayed July 2024. Was assigned a room in the Promenade Tower and immediately noticed black hairs and bed bug shells all over the bed. Had to wait for 2 members of housekeeping management to meet with me at the room to inspect. They confirmed, apologized, and sent me to the front desk for a new room. I was then assigned a suite in the other tower. Upon entry, my entire family was hit with a strong smell of bug treatment. Against our better judgement we stayed, justifying because we didn't see evidence of bugs (despite the tile floor being stickier than a men's bathroom at a dirty truck stop). HUGE mistake! My daughter woke up in the morning with her rollaway bed covered in bed bug shells and rashes on her skin. I complained again to the front desk and they did NOTHING. I then filed a dispute with my credit card company rewards program (it was a points stay), and they indicated the hotel is denying I ever filed a complaint. I called the hotel directly and they kept bouncing me between supervisors and "security" (which makes no sense) having me explain the same thing over and over, and they kept saying they would call me back and they did not. Leadership at this property is DISHONEST, irresponsible for the safety of guests, and completely LACKING INTEGRITY. I don't have time for their intentional playing of games but I wanted my story told. I hope my story prevents other travelers from making the mistake of booking a reservation here, ruining your vacation, and having to bag up and wash / disinfect all of your belongings! See pics for sample of what to look for if you made the mistake of staying and are now reading this review. If you experience this problem, do not agree to another room and make the same mistake as us!
