This coffee shop caught my attention as I drove by lake street. I kept it in mind for next time I was in the area. That day finally came and I stopped by before running a few errands. I purchased the Shaah, Somali tea. It was delicious! The beverage was hot, tasty and fairly priced. I will definitely come back to try the pastries and sit for a bit. The place is well decorated with a lot of attention to detail. I suggest giving them a try! They've got a lot of parking available too.

I love the environment! The windows are huge, and the decor is so cute. I will add that this is one of the cleanest coffee shops I have ever been in. The service was very fast and efficient. The staff was so kind, a great place to study. There were a lot of people who came in just to sit and chat too. I tried the espresso and samosas. They were heated and hit the spot. I will be coming back.

I've been making an effort to visit more of the locally owned restaurants in my neighborhood lately and today I went to Muhim's Cafe. The barista was very nice and helped me when I wasn't sure what to order. I got Shaah (Somali spiced tea) and a sambusa pastry. The Shaah tastes a lot like chai tea (very good) and the sambusa was great! It's a savory fried meat pastry and it was fantastic. I definitely recommend coming here for coffee and a treat if you're looking for something local.

Loved this place! Fantastic espresso (one of the best americanos I've had and I've had a lot of them!) and the shaah tea was delicious - was a bit like chai but with a slightly different flavor. We also had the sweat bread which they warmed up to a perfect temp. Wish we had been hungrier to try all of the other unique offerings. Service was really friendly too. Highly recommend this place!
