Mt's On 8th

This place is close to my sister's house. We drove over. We got the worst server ever. I asked about the fried pickles, and she said they were spears and came with nacho cheese. I said ok, but want ranch instead. Bread sticks arrive at our table. Umm, not what I ordered. She thought I asked about bread sticks. She took them away and off. I ordered a Sasquach Burger with brisket, cheese on it, and seasoned fries. I received potato chips. Luckily, I wasn't charged for fries. The pop refill was free and refilled. The burger was good, but I had diahrea all night. The burgers are hand pattied and not frozen. I had 1 of my sisters Buffalo wings, which was good. The food took awhile to arrive, wondering if order was entered late also.

Had dinner here last night to see if it did have the best burger in St. Cloud? This place is located in an older strip mall so parking is plentiful. As I walked into this place it was clear it was a "local bar and grill" as everyone turned as I walked in! I did check to see if I was wearing something unusual or my fly was down. I did have a U of MN hockey sweatshirt on so maybe the place was full of St. Cloud Univerisity Huskies hockey fans? Nevertheless, I was welcomed by the bartender.The service was very good and received my drink ordered immediately. I ordered a basic bacon cheese burger with tater tots. The griddle was behind the bar was staffed with one cook, Kevin. That guy was a superstar as a short order grill cook! He said he should be pretty good because he has been doing it for 30 years. The place was packed and the orders were flying off the grill. Now if I were to rate this place on food alone it would be a solid three. Burger was made with fresh and not frozen beef as I witnessed the raw burgers go from cooler to griddle. Good flavor but not sure it could be the best in St. Cloud as I have visited other burger places in town.It was the little things that placed another star in this review. First off, this cook was very particular about the food appearance of each meal. He was fun to watch. Space was limited so the bar served a dual role as preparation area as well. Second, frosted glasses. Don't see that too often. Last but not least, values. They had a sign proclaiming only two drinks for customers with children. Wow that is a commitment to family! A couple of interesting menu items so I will return.

Feels like your small town bar with your basic bar food items. Reminds me of home. The drinks were cold and service great for being pretty busy. Lots of parking! Located in a little strip mall.

I love MTs and I'm glad they changed back the few she dip to the slices roast beef. That's how it should be. Prices went up which is unfortunate and the yummy caramel coconut bars are no more lol but other than that. I'll always prefer this place for my French Dio cravings. The ham and cheese wishes are also yummy. Have to get with nacho cheese sauce for sure. Wish they'd have chili or soup but maybe it's not popular or practical for this place. Doesn't look like much but the food is great. Stop in for sure.

This place is the best place in St. Cloud. The most friendly place around. Food is amazing, and the outdoor patio is the bomb! Kevin, Brady, Mandy, Meggie, Cassandra, Zach, Laura, Maddie, Cassidy, Joe, Janel, Jim and Jen! Sorry if I forgot any names. You are all amazeballs!

Best burgers in St Cloud. Always fresh, fast, and friendly service. Good sized portions. Hidden gem.

I ordered a California chic sandwich for pick up. on the menu it was a chicken breast with kettle chips. I opened my box to find a breaded patty burnt/dry, a week old stale bun probably bought last week , no sauce, and no chips. charged 12 dollars for a frozen patty slapped in a old bun and some pickles. Disgusting unable to eat.

On Friday sep 27th, 2024 my husband and I went to have dinner. We usually seat in the bar. The bartender who said is the manager also screamed at me bc I moved one chair to be close to my husband. I said to her that i've done before but she replied "Im the manager here so move the chair to its place" I moved the chair and we left the place. We used to be regulars but we are never coming back. This is a little bar, I guess they don't care about losing customers. For being a manager she doesn't know anything about hospitality.

Love the staff. Everyone from the kitchen to the bar to the waitstaff are kind, helpful. They keep it real. Plus the food is great. Especially recommend the commuter on Fridays and the chicken wings any time!

This place is exactly what I hoped it would be..friendly staff, great food selection with large portions. I felt very comfortable and welcomed.Definitely will make this my new go to place.
