Yum! Came for a work dinner with a larger group. Tried several apps: pickles and popovers, crab beignets, stuffed mushrooms, jumbo grilled shrimp. All very good!Washed down with the n/a Slim's Pimm's. So good! Lots of inventive fun cocktails on the menu with unique presentation. The diver scallops- holy cow, this was so delicious. They were perfectly cooked, the crunch of macadamia perfectly pairs with the soft coconutty grits. This was a fantastic main course. Love Mr. Paul's!

Amazing place for a dinner date with friends. Beautiful place with yummy food and great friendly service. My friends and I decided to try this place for a girls night out. It's a little on the pricey side but well worth it in my opinion. Everything we tried was delicious. We started off with stuffed mushrooms. Perfect way to start the night. For entrées both of my friend's got the Lobster Gnocchi, which was delicious. The Gnocchi was so fluffy and airy and just melts in your mouth. It's a must try. I got the Scallops with Pork Belly, coconut white grits with fresh Thai Basil, cilantro and coconut-chili crunch. The Scallops were cooked perfectly and the flavors were perfect all together. We couldn't leave without getting desserts. We all wanted something different so ended up getting the Beignets, Tres Leche cake and Cheesecake. We all enjoyed our desserts. It was the perfect way to end our night. We had a great experience and we will be back for sure.

We had the absolute best dinner on a Wednesday night. We were celebrating my boyfriend's birthday and we received the best service. The restaurant has dark decor and has candles throughout. It's was a good vibe for date night. You would think because the restaurant was slow when we got there and not a busy night that the experience wouldn't be the best, but it was! As soon as we sat down they gave us a gift card for our next visit to thank us for us coming in to celebrate his birthday. We both ordered an old fashioned and the frog legs for an appetizer. It was our first time having frog legs and let me just say I was blown away! They were so tender and spicy- tasted like chicken. I would solely go back just for the frog legs! The frog legs took awhile to cook so they gave us an appetizer on the house- the shrimp which was very good too. For the entrees- the steak, potatoes, and lobster were all cooked to perfection. We ended the night with a dessert drink they also gave to us on the house and some cheesecake. Our waiter Will was so attentive and ended up knowing who my boyfriend was from the gym. Although it was slow and were the last ones in the restaurant he did not rush us to leave but encouraged us to have a great time because they were not closed yet. I appreciated that so much because that is a huge pet peeve of mine. We will be back!

I went to try Mr Paul's Supper Club for the first time during the 50th and France restaurant week and it was okay. The vibes and the ambiance was phenomenal! So swanky and chic. The server was super kind and attentive. Food came out pretty quickly! The food was a bit disappointing, especially for the price! Appetizer - Gumbo: it lacked a lot of flavor and felt watered down (it was also super watery). I wish it had more flavor! 2/5Entree - Étouffée: pretty good! Generous portions of shrimp and had more flavor! 4/5Dessert - Beignets: great! So light and fluffy and the chocolate sauce was a plus! Overall, didn't LOVE this place so not sure I'll be back.. but loved the location, free parking and the interior of this place!

Great time at Brunch with my girl. The decor is reminiscent of a speakeasy or that of a cute cocktail bar. It's a absolute must to eat in or frequent happy hour.Food * drinks 4/5 NITROGEN ESPRESSO $16 was ok for a liqueur drink. My first so didn't know what to expect. CHICKEN N BEIGNETS $18 | SHRIMP N GRITS $18 we're just on. This dish can be a hit or miss in MN so I wasn't terribly disappointed. Overall 4/5 Great location in a shopping area, and convenient parking. I absolutely love this spot, it's so cute. Brunch, lunch or dinner is a hit.

This place is LOUD and expensive. Don't plan on dinner conversation, or any kind of recommendations from the waitstaff. Our waiter was pretty checked out since we could barely hear each other. I have a quiet voice so I did ask the hostess if management would kindly consider taking the volume down a notch. They were friendly but didn't budge so we shouted through a quick dinner and rushed out. Maybe just some fresh, fluffy beignets to go.

Wowee! My partner and I popped into the Supper Club for a quick snack and a drink and we had a blast! The service was so swift and lovely. Staff was super helpful in getting us set up at the bar (my partner used a wheelchair which can sometimes pose a challenge for some institutions). The Mac n cheese had crumbles from hot and regular Cheetos and it was phenomenal! Just the right amount of creamy cheese with the crumble crunches were The asparagus was also wonderful. A good crunch and kind of soft but spruced up with shredded cheese and pine nuts was the perfect touch. It was definitely a vibey spot and we'll be back for a full meal when we're back in town for longer.

We started with a few cocktails. A negroni, French 75 and a passion fruit martini. One of the best negroni's we've ever had. For the martini, we didn't realize until we drank it all that it had passion fruit filled pearls at the bottom. They were delicious though. We had a few appetizers to start. The stuffed mushrooms were delecious. They had a nice texture and the filling was good. The mussels were very good as well. They had a curry broth that was so good you could eat it as a soup. The crab beignets were ok. You didn't really taste or see the crab. More like fried dough balls. Wouldn't get those again. For entree, we got a hanger steak. The potatoes were amazing. Crispy on the bottom and fluffy. Best part of the dish. The steak was good. Meat was a little tough but still good. Bearnaise was just ok. Could have used more tarragon. Now the meatloaf was out of this world. They use both beef and pork. The spices inside were perfect. The mashed potatoes were creamy. The gravy was rich. Just a delicious dish. Highly recommend. They gave us a complimentary piece of cheesecake for a birthday dessert as well as a birthday card that had a $15 gift card to use on a future visit. This was a very nice touch. Service was fine, nothing to write home about but acceptable. The energy inside was enjoyable.

Spent Fat Tuesday at Mr. Paul's. Gumbo was amazing ! Scoop of potato salad on top? Weird but worked so well. Sides of corn bread and creamed spinach could have been a whole meal but had to get the shrimp etouffee and diver scallops. Scallops were a bit salty but that's the only nit I have to pick. Staff was wonderful-attentive but not intrusive. I want to live at Mr. Paul's!
