Mr. Mark's Music is a great place to take a guitar, bass or other stringed instruments in need of some TLC. I have taken several of my guitars to MMM and always get them back in great shape. His pricing is good and turnaround time is generally reasonable.I have a '66 Rickenbacker 12 string that sent out to a Rickenbacker specialist in San Francisco a few years ago and came back and was never really right, took it to Mr Mark's and after some work on it it has been back to its original state and a treat to play. It seems he has a love for his work and it shows. Glad there still is a place like Mr Mark's Music around for all of us guitar loving folks. Thanks, Mark.

Great local shop. Mark has the ability to quickly size up a guitar and know exactly what it needs to achieve peak performance. This is where my guitars go when I've done all I can do with it and it needs some pro quality work.

Mark is a good luthier, and an experienced professional. He has done 100% of my stringed instrument repairs for the past ten years. But he has done more than that. He has also helped me to find my sound. Years ago, I brought him an old Marshall JCM, asking for advice on a new amp. "Why don't you try a Vox," he said. I plugged into the amp he recommended and was immediately impressed with both the sound and the price. As a weekend pro musician, I can say with confidence that Mark is one of the best at what he does in the Twin Cities, and arguably the best. Don't risk your weekend income on a boy that shaves at Guitar Center. Bring it to an experienced professional. Mark and his people take good care of players and good care of their instruments."

I took my guitar to Mr Marks Music as it was not sounding in tune on one of the strings. The owner, I presume, examined my guitar, explained what need to be done and said it would take about a week. A week passed and the work was complete. I went to pick it up, the fellow explained what he did and my guitar sounds wonderful. The cost of the repair was reasonable. I recommend this business to anyone with a string instrument in need of repair. The customer service was great!!
