Mr. Jim's Food & Liquor

We had a wonderful time at Mr Jim's. We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and unbeknownst to us they have dancing with live music on Sunday afternoons! There were a lot of people dancing and it was so fun to see! We also ordered hamburgers which were delicious! The server was super nice and attentive. We will go back... next time with friends and plan to dance!

Very good burgers and even better prices. Jim Burger was large and tasty with fresh ingredients. Reuben sandwich was very good also. Good small town find!

We went to Mr. Jim's to celebrate a birthday, and their staff is absolutely fabulous. You can tell that Mr. Jim's is a family business, and they sure know how to serve you. The place is small and simple, but something about it makes you feel at home. There's a certain warmth to small bars like this, and I appreciated the "small town" feel. My friend and I ordered dinner there and she decided on the chicken drummies ($7.99 as an appetizer). I chose the Kylie's Kowgirl Kick'n Burger ($5.50) & we shared waffle fries ($4.99 as an appetizer). I also purchased a whiskey sour to sip on.The food was fantastic. The burger was monstrous in size- bacon, swiss cheese, onion rings all piled high...but don't let it's size scare you...it was delicious. The only part about the burger that was odd was the pickles. Now, I don't like pickles as it is, but someone else with me ate one of my pickles and told me it tasted off. It didn't look like a normal pickle slice, that's for sure. I would suggest to order your burger without pickles for that reason. My friend loved her chicken drummies as well. They looked like they had a nice crunch to them. The waffles fries were great, but a little on the salty side.As for my whiskey sour, it tasted like straight whiskey. The water moccasin shots we had were perfect though, so drinks seemed to be a hit or miss.If you're in Foley, stop on in to Mr. Jim's!

Such a wonderful hardworking staff. Make sure that if you are in Foley headed to Mr Jims, check their specials depending on the night of the week. They have a taco night and burger night and if you make the trip, you will not be disappointed. Also, be sure and get some of their french-fries! I have yet to be at another bar that offers a better tasting french fry basket.Aside from their amazing bar food, they offer a perfect atmosphere. If you are just looking for a joint to have a quick bite and watch Minnesota sports; Mr Jims is the place. If you happen to be looking for a place to sip a few drinks and cut-a-rug on a Friday or Saturday night (usually a DJ playing great music); Mr Jims is the place. They also have a couple boards if you are into playing darts -or- if you are a pool shark, they have a couple of tables with a very nice set-up if you are into billiards. Mr Jims is family run and family friendly and if you are in the Foley area or happen to be passing through. Don't miss out on the opportunity to have a burger/beer and chat with Mr Jim himself or his wife Merx. You won't be let down.

Out on the bikes and decided to stop for a bite to eat. Great food! Reasonably priced. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stop again! Recommend this place.

Definitely one of the best places in the area, burgers are excellent. And the owners are great!

Excellent live music on Sunday! Great food and attentive service. I would like more Gluten-Free choices, but they do a good job of adjusting dishes. Much appreciated!

Best ham and cheese balls I have ever had, and great fries. A fun crowd when they have a band.

Yummie, fresh, juicy burgers. The fried shrooms and onion rings were both good too. We stopped in the afternoon there was not a lot of people so the service was great.
