Mogie's Pub & Restaurant

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat and drink while driving through town. It was our first time. The cheese curds were so good!! We each got a wrap and fries. The wraps were decent. Service was fast!

Every time I come here, I end up ordering the same appetizer, the "Spuds o' Plenty", and I am never disappointed. Most of the burgers are fairly standard, and they have a tendency in the kitchen to overcook their burgers. I've had more than one hockey puck that I have had to send back. 20 years ago, these folks were on the cutting edge of gourmet burgers in town, but I'm afraid they've been bypassed by many newer burger joints in the area, and they have done little, if anything, to update their menu.

Hmm, this dilemma of having to choose a rating between four or five stars is a good one to have. It means that businesses are doing a great job and Mogie's is one of them.We went there for veggie burgers on our long drive back to the Twin Cities. They do things our favorite way: you can get most styles with your choice of four patties, and one of them veggie, for a custom experience. The veggie one is a Gardenburger, not as cool as a home made one, which tempted me to drop a star.However, given what they are, a bar and grill, expectations should be tempered. For what they do, it is top notch. Service was wonderful. It was clean and low-key inside. Food was very good all around.We had the jerk style and Cajun style burgers. The jerk was very mild and had some intriguing spice in it that I really liked (cloves or nutmeg?). (Contrary to popular belief, the jerk is not named after me.) The Cajun was mild, but more spicy. The pub fries that we added to one were decent and the side salad upgrade with the other really hit the spot. The star of the show was the Buffalo chips appetizer: perfectly prepared crisps with light drizzle of sauce and bleu cheese. Less is more and they nailed it!Since we were driving and felt weary already, we didn't try their good selection of tap beers.I don't know if they have the best burgers in town, but we would come back for sure!

This is a MUST STOP for awesome food, cold beer and friendly service. It also has a great atmosphere and I rated it 5 stars as the service, food, drinks, atmosphere and value. All around an awesome experience that doesn't happen to often in this day and age. Thank you to Mogie the Moose for his excellent service and fantastic attitude. As Arnold said in the Terminator; "We'll be back!"

My husband and I love coming here when I am craving wings this is where we go staff is always attentive and there is always a game on

Mogie's Pub has a name very similar to my nickname, not one but two pasta dishes the same curly consistency of my hair, fantastic beer selection and amazing vibe and music! Just hope you end up here. What a treat!

Mogies is kind of like home. Good food, great ambiance and wonderfully kind staff. My wife have been going here for years and if we move it will be one of the only places we will miss.

The staff is amazing!! There was a large group before us, but they still took good care of us. The cook in particular was also greeting and waiting tables. We would definitely make time to come back again (:

They close whenever they want. Are most the time closed at 9 pm. Food was alright tho but felt rushed

Eau Claire restaurants need to go have a meal at Mogie's Pub. They all need to take note; friendly polite staff, darn good food, the place is spotless and the prices are spot on.
