Best parking lot ever. Yep, I'm starting with that bc if it's summer you should take a moment and just watch all the pollinators flying about the lovely native gardens. We were just stopping in to grab lunch, but we wandered the store a bit and enjoyed seeing so many unique items. The hot bar area is just what we needed for a lunch stop. Plenty of good cold grab and go items too.

I love this coop for many reasons. They have gluten free breakfast sandwiches and baked goods and hot bar that is always tasty. They also sell fun gift items.

First time coming here, this store reminds me so much of the Mustard Seed Market I visited years ago in Akron, Ohio. Great, clean store with plenty of great store amenities such as hot soup, some hot food. Great selection of meats. It's a smaller store compared to larger stores, great array of healthy choices and various hard to find items I've never seen before. Check out lines aren't too long. Staff was friendly. Plenty of parking in the back.

Shout out to the middle aged lady with short hair who asked me "do you need help finding something" in front of the premade food area. This doesn't sound like a rude remark, but the way she said it was condescending. I replied "no, I'm seeing what you have so I can make a decision". I looked down then back up to catch her give a coworker a funny smirk and rolling eye reaction. I hope you feel better about yourself for making me feel like I don't belong in your "healthy" market. I won't be back. Get well soon lady!

To start off, I am a big fan of the Mississippi market co-ops. The staff are great and the deli is awesome. I went a couple days ago to the smoothie bar and got a Funny Bunny smoothie. It contains fresh pressed carrot juice, blueberries, banana, and spinach. This drink tastes great and is always super refreshing because fresh or just recently frozen vegetables are used. It's $5.99 for a 16 oz and $5.49 for a 12oz, so I always go for a 16 oz when I get it because that's a better price point. Seems kind of expensive up front, but when you think about the fact that Jamba Juice (and other similar smoothie companies) use processed juices and canned fruits and charge upwards of $6, it makes it worth it. I've also tried to remake it at home and the drink always ends up costing similar to what I pay for it and it just doesn't taste as good. Also, I looove the smoked mozzarella pasta. It's got spinach, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, and penne within it and is an Easy lunch. This container was $5.

For foodies who are looking for a more natural substance, Mississippi Market will fit the bill. They do have some nice things that are hard to find at other locations (even natural food stores). I really like their bulk bins and bulk spice area. They have a really nice assortment and are pretty competitively priced. I haven't tried their bakery or deli yet but it all looks pretty good. They are pricey here, which isn't a surprise, but it does limit me from shopping her more often. I'm not dropping $50 on basic groceries, this is more for when I want to buy something unique of special.

I love this place! While some of their prices are more that WF and TJ, I find that I'm ok with paying them. They have excellent service and the food selection is right up my alley.I can get sustainable meats and all the organic produce I desire. I've yet to purchase anything here that I didn't like. The food is fresh and the store is really clean.Stop by the cheese case and deli to try something new and unusual. They have an array of cheeses that aren't easily found elsewhere, and the prices are pretty decent. My only warning is that the lemonade doesn't have any sugar or sweetener in it, so be prepared for a brisk drink! One of the things I love about this place, too, is that you can donate the funds from bringing your own bags. I like that.

Fantastic Co-Op, reminds me of the one I belong too in Ames, IA.. It's the perfect size not huge, but big enough to have more then everything you would ever need. Great produce selection, bulk, natural cleaning stuff, and groceries! We were just stopping quick for a coffee before hitting the road back to Iowa. The coffee was self serve and great, and they had my fave Soy Creamer out to self pour as well! I love that! They had a huge vegan cookie in the bakery case so I had to grab one of those for breakfast too! I'm and adult, I can do what I want, and I want VEGAN COOKIES every time they are available! The deli and prepared food section was really nice. I also love the little separated seating area they had to enjoy your salad bar, deli, or bakery goods in store! The staff was super kind and generous with conversation, they had lots of produce and chip samples out, and the prices were great! Support this place, if I lived in St. Paul I would!

I like the new, larger location of this Mississippi Market. However, it has a few major flaws: for one thing, there are fewer vegan baked goods and deli products here than at the other location.Secondly, while the store is bigger, the check-out area is remarkably cramped and they didn't have enough people working the individual aisles. I don't think they're using their larger space wisely.Lastly, everything here is absurdly expensive, even by co-op standards. For example, a package of Field Roast sausages costs $7 here, as opposed to $5 at Whole Foods. The half-size containers of Silk soymilk were $3.89 here---you could get DOUBLE the quantity, for $3.30 or even less, at The Wedge or Whole Foods. Mississippi Market, that's just unacceptable.
