Mischief Toy Store

Needed an early Xmas present for my nibling & wanted to support a local small business so stopped by here. What I love is the unique gifts & outstanding customer service. It is sooo helpful to be able to say, "My nephew is 5 years old & likes to build things & likes music" and then I'm magically brought before items that he'd like. The worker genuinely seemed to care & wasn't pushy at all. I also enjoy that this store is in a house. It seems small when you first walk in but keep exploring since there's many rooms. They got all kinds of things from board games, to science games, to outdoor games, musical instruments, magic, books, & some great socks that say "sisters are the sh*t" (had to get those)! Huge bonus is that they wrap things for free, sweeeet! Mischief is the last toy store in Saint Paul so make sure to go support them & be labeled the best auntie ever come the holidays.

I went to the store over Christmas period. I kept getting emails about the mystery loot box. They showed an example of one of each they were offering. Apparently the junior box is 12 and younger.I went in with the intentions to buy the box and use a few items to give as a gift to one of my 13 year old autistic client. The photos of the boxes they were showing I saw several things that would be fitting.When I entered the store and was looking at boxes the retail associate said junior was 12 and under and the other was 12+ so I automatically went with clients age box. Although I wish I would have stepped back and got the other aged box because his cognitive level is not the same as his age.After opening the box inside I found a logic puzzle book, coffee mug, few pieces of old candy, book marker, two stickers, a game board/card -valued on amazon for $11, a naked baby figurine, two stone erasers, two tiny pins, a small 48 piece puzzle and a pencil. Not sure how all these small items added up to $65 which the box was suppose to be valued at and not sure if the mug or game was the higher priced item.I called to see if I could exchange or return and they said if it was open NO. I feel some exceptions should be made.

Super cute toy store, geared for all ages but super welcoming to any walk of life. If I was looking for more kid games, I'd stop by there because they have a great selection for all ages but especially the best for kids.

Great store. They are always friendly and they have zots candy, fun toys, stickers, puzzles and books.

Popped in for the first time this week to pick up presents for my 3 yr old niece and will definitely be back. Many thanks to the awesome staff who gave great recs and even wrapped the gifts in this beautiful fun cosmic galaxy paper. I'm a bit of a clueless Auntie when it comes to toy trends and brands but luckily their curation made it easy to locate diverse and ethically made toys as well as a good selection of sensory play items as well. My niece is thrilled and my brother and sister-in-law are still talking to me so win-win.

I just want to thank Mischief Toy Store for their masking policy. As someone who opposes Vaccine mandates, I welcome masking mandates as a safe and effective alternative. We spend a lot of time with the grandparents and do what we can to protect them. Also it's been stressful being immunocompromised by pregnancy during a pandemic. It's nice that Mischief is creating a safe, fun, and loving community environment for families. I will be doing lots of Christmas and Chanukah and birthday shopping here this season!

This unique toy store is all about tween and teens. If you are looking to please the tweenager in your life you will find all kinds of great gifts that will amuse and entertain even the most difficult personalities in your life. My kids all beg me to spend money on them while we are here. You will find comic books, books, coloring books, games, science kits, magic kits, outdoor activity accessories, opinion buttons, jewelry, gadgets, decorations, fidgets, tiny hands and Japanese novelties. They have events on their calendar and gaming space upstairs. All are welcome here. ‍‍

This place is charming and cute. Friendly staff, and all inclusive bathroom and a variety of many things:Nostalgic candyStuffed animalsWhimsical booksSidewalk Chalk, art suppliesMusical instrumentsThose hammock thingies that I see everyone and their brother swinging in at the parks.So much more..Games upstairs We found a musical instrument. A slide whistle- how cool. This wasn't as loud as the jingle bells.Worth a visit.

Amazing store!I was there for the first time today with my wife. They have toys for adults and kids. We walked out with a toy and a huge list of things we are going to buy people for the holidays.This is the place to go for a fun toy for yourself or someone special. They have a little something for everyone.From Magic the gathering cards to books to magic tricks and zip lines.You need to stop in and check it out to see how cool this store is!

I love this store now. There is specialty candy and snacks, unique toys, and games for people of all ages. Spent about $60 on an armful of high quality fidget toys. Just hit the cafe down the block on the corner for a sweet treat, and you have a perfect parent and kid date!
