We were happy to have Free Comic Book Day return this year. Mind's Eye was the only place we wanted to go and so we did. They are in a new location since our last visit (used to be in Eagan).Per usual, everyone was friendly and helpful. I found a Harriet Tubman comic that I didn't even know existed. I bought the two copies they had. Everything was well organized and easy to peruse both the free and paid comics they have. This space is much smaller than their previous location. Fortunately, everyone was masked, which made us feel more at ease. One of the things I really love about this place, in addition to the fact that it's POC owned, is that I can be an all-out geek and nerd without getting any side eye. Chatting with the staff is fun and I always learn something new. I don't follow the comic world closely, so getting an update and to see the excitement of the person talking is quite infectious. It's probably why I've yet to spend less than $40 when we go there. Whether it's FCBD or not, this is the play for comics, graphic novels, and all kinds of things that you'll not find anywhere else. Stop in!

Minds eye comics is great. The customer service is great, and although it is a bit small, they still have the new issues of the series that you care about every week which is generally what matters! Also whatever comics you want that they don't have, they'll order for you and call you to come pick it up. They have a big chunk of the store dedicated to graphic novels which is nice for people just getting into comics to get into and catch up quickly on storylines. There is a small selection of games and collectibles that could make a good last minute gift, and there is a very cute kids comic section near the register. All-in-all, it's a great little shop and we should all support it!

I've been a customer for 8 years now and not once in that time have I had anything less than PERFECT customer service. The place is clean, well-stocked, and neatly laid out - making it easy to find whatever you're looking for.The guys there are very friendly and know their products well. They usually have my books laid out for me as soon as they see I've walked in. Knowing what I collect, they often suggest other things I may find interesting. In 26 years of collecting comics, I've not found better service anywhere! Give these guys a chance to earn your business and they surely will.

Until this year, I hadn't picked up a comic book since I was in HS. Now that there is a series that appeals to me, I've started making regular trips to Mind's Eye. I'm pretty much an outsider to the world of comics and such, yet every visit to Mind's Eye has been wonderful. I am greeted warmly upon entering the store, I have had friendly interactions with all the staff, and I appreciate when they call to let me know when new issues arrive. This kind of outstanding customer service is what keeps me coming back.

Great selection, helpful and polite staff, nice layout, and a great location! I order my new comics online for a large discount, so I only use this place if I miss an issue. An extra star would be added if they had a significant discount for preordered stuff

I don't like leaving bad reviews but I feel like people should know a little about this place. I have tried this place many times over the last 7 years and even looked at making it my 'home store' when I lived in IGH and I have to say every time my experience has been sub-par. The hours are inconvenient as they open late on weekends, their shelf stock is only ok and their back issue collection is awful and overpriced. I have asked several different times about items I couldn't find on the shelf and was met with apathy from the employees. In addition to that, if the staff is watching something behind the counter do yourself a favor and don't bother interrupting them. The deals on Free Comic Book day two months ago were insulting. They're really the only comic book store in the South East Metro and it seems to be their business has become complacent in that fact. Often I felt like they think they're doing me a favor by selling to me. I do not feel welcomed here and would rather spend my money elsewhere.
