On a drive back home to the TC from a day hiking near St Cloud, we decided to stop for a glass of wine on a whim. To our delight we caught the majority of the live music show while we played frisbee on the grounds and allowed the well-behaved puppy to run around. We snacked on the cheese and meat plate and had a lovely couple hours on a perfect summer day. They also sell domestic beer (bud light, etc) for the non-wine drinkers which I appreciated. Minus one star because the wine is good but not my preferred style. They were all quite sweet. And the food options are limited but they do allow you to bring outside food.

Our first stop on our limo ride to a winery. The staff was humorous and attentive. Get the one waitress to do a song that one of the owners writes about drinking wine. Hilarious. The wine tasting has two prices depending on the amount of tasting you enjoy. The place is nice but didn't have a large area for events.

Milner Heritage Vineyard is worth the drive any day! Visited for the first time today and Nathan was great, super informative and fun server! After our tastings, we sat down with a bottle and the winemaker, John, joined us for conversation. I've never been to a winery that A) EVERY single wine tasted great and B) has the excellent conversations with staff/owner. Would come back in a heart beat! But we left with a case of wine ourselves to enjoy for a bit until next time! Thank you for such a fun Saturday afternoon!!!

If you love sweet wine (like I do) than this is the place for you! I have been here 4 time now, and every time it has been even better than the last. This isn't a place really for relaxing with a glass of wine, though, as the owner and bar staff sing, chat, and are very involved with the customers. My favorite wine here is Schnickelfritz, and recommend it to everyone! Even the dry wine lovers. :)

What a great place!!! The environment is fantastic, the staff and owners are all knowledgeable and friendly, and the wine is spectacular! This was the best wine that I have ever had at a vineyard! The Little Iza was my favorite! The tour is also very entertaining and interesting!

Millner Heritage Winery, outside of Kimball, offers a nice selection of wines. If you like sweet wines, try Little Iza. It's delicious, with just a slight natural fermentation to it that gives it a light and fruity taste that you'll enjoy. We attended the annual grape stomp. They had a country/rock band on hand, numerous craft vendors, and three free samples. Tours were $4.50, which we wish had been better advertised in the promotional materials. The grounds are beautiful. It's a nice place to visit, sit back, and enjoy a bottle of wine.

This winery was in a beautiful setting. The land was lovely and the tasting room was nice. There was indoor seating as well as a nice patio. The tasting was not a good value even with a Groupon. The pours were about an ounce which is very little compared to other wineries that I have been to. It was busy when I was there and the wait was long between one sample and the next. The staff was stretched thin and seemed short on patience. I was surprised to learn that they don't recycle any of their bottles. All of the empty bottles go right to the trash. The wine was okay for Minnesota, but nothing super special.

What an awesome place! I'm not a big wine drinker, but I was with a party bus on July 3rd. I felt bad for the owner because he did not know we were coming, but they rose to the occasion! Only half of us did wine tasting, while the rest got a drink and went outside. I believe we had the owner's uncle. He was great! He sang us songs about most of the wines. I did buy 2 bottles of one that I liked. I encourage everyone to follow!

We enjoyed our trip to this winery. Bar staff was very chatty so beware if this is not your thing. They explained the wines thoroughly and threw in an extra tasting. They even offered a tour of the vineyard.tasting pours will a little lighter than other wineries, but they were also free so no complaint from me!We purchased 3 bottles.
