A cute little market inside The Trailhead! After tubing we decided to grab some hot chocolate and honestly I was a bit shocked by the flavors. I thought this would be another watered down packet hot chocolate that most ski resorts serve but the hot chocolate here was actually so good. The drink was very rich and milky with the strong chocolate flavors coming through. This was exactly what I needed to warm me up from the cold day.I'm not sure how the other food options are but definitely get the hot chocolate here in the wintertime.

Changing my review back to 3 stars. So sad what has happened to this place- seems the owner doesn't see the value in continuing to invest? We've been coming here on average every week since we moved to the area 4 years ago. Easy mid-week dinners. A snack after a hike. Bringing friends and family from out of town for a wonderful patio dinner with live music. A drink after a ride with friends. I was very proud to have this in my neighborhood and bring others here. And there really aren't many restaurants in this area so it was the most convenient place. It's a beautiful building with a view of the park. The food was great and the service was fast and friendly.Maybe 1.5 years ago our favorite manager left (his name was Will and he always took such good care of us and our dog- all of the sudden we didn't see him anymore) and we noticed then that the service just tanked. The food was slower. Poorer quality. And the staff were getting more and more rude or just unfriendly. We started coming less, but still fairly frequently. Maybe went from 2x/week down to 1. Now they have drastically cut down the menu such that they aren't serving much in the way of cooked meals. We almost never go there anymore cause all we really would want to buy that's worth it are sweet potato fries. I miss how it used to be!I really don't know what the plan is for this place- I wish they would have just cut down on their hours. They are open every day 8am-8pm and earlier/later on weekdays.... Which is crazy to me. If they made all these changes due to finances, I would have started there and made hours 4-9pm or something. It's especially odd that they did this right as winter started- which is the busiest time of year at Theo with skiing.I think these changes will really affect the vibe of the Trailhead and the area. Please come back Mill Valley Market! Or maybe leave and make room for something else?

The wild rice soup was so bad I wonder if it was rotten, and the turkey wrap was worse than the ones you get at the convenience store but 3x the cost. The pilsner was great, though. On the food alone I'd probably give two or three stars, but they also have a 15% junk fee, AND they have something set up wrong such that they overcharge on taxes, which of course nobody there knows how to fix. It's a cool location but the business practices are bad enough to merit the worse possible review.

They were quick and food was fresh. The menu doesn't have a ton of variety or anything particularly special but plenty of choices to fill you up after a day at the park or mountain biking. It's clean and the view while sitting outside in the patio is just gorgeous.

Had zero idea that this existed and was thrilled to stumble across it! Located inside the trail park building, you will find a lovely establishment with large windows that allow natural sunlight in, long community tables that are very good for meetings or general working stations and then individual smaller tables - all which have electrical outlets. What a joy it was to have a quiet place for the day to do work emails and enjoy a DELICIOUS breakfast. Days have passed since I came here and I'm still craving the fluffy egg sandwich. This is not something that was microwaved - it was clearly made fresh and I enjoyed every bite. I paired the sandwich with a cup of fruit and a chai tea latte. Once you order, you will get a beeper which is very nice to understand when your order is ready for pickup vs. looking each time. I am very impressed! Yum, yum, yum.

We had a wonderful experience at the Mill Valley Market inside the Theodore Wirth Trailhead building! We just moved to the neighborhood and walked here with friends for a weekend morning stroll and snack. They were about to close up to prep for a wedding but got our order in. LOCATION: You can go inside to order and sit at one of the several seating options inside, or order from the window outside and sit outside on their patio furniture. FOOD/DRINK: I loooved my iced chai - one of the best I've had recently! We also got some banana bread to split - a huge, delicious loaf! It was served with herb butter which seemed like an odd pairing, but it kinda worked. The menu is limited to simpler, light bfast and lunch options and a bit on the spendier side, but SO nice to have a spot like this here. SERVICE: The team welcomed us warmly, got our food and drink efficiently, and told us a bit about the space, their wedding/catering setup, etc. This will be a frequent neighborhood spot for us!

Wow! My friends and I had a wonderful experience here at the Mill Valley Market inside the Theodore Wirth Trailhead building. This is a casual takeout food restaurant which you can order inside or at the window outside. My friends and I noticed the line was crazy long inside, so we went outside to order. Ended up great, since we opted to eat outside at one of the many tables with umbrellas. We all ordered sandwiches, two of us got the turkey with avocado and another got the chicken salad. It is a bit spendy, but so delicious and so worth it! We'll be back!

To be clear, I liked the food here (I did give this 4 stars), but there's no question you pay a few extra dollars for your meal because of the trail adjacent views and atmosphere. They make a decent cold press and their chicken sandwich is a bit small, but tastes great.

I love Mill Valley Market!! We live in Colorado but come to Minnesota several times a year to visit family (we used to live in the Twin Cities). Our children live nearby so we visit often. The food is delicious, whatever you get, the portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. It's a welcoming and busy environment all year round with a cozy wood stove in the entrance.Because of the Loppet center for activities ( biking and hiking in the summer and skiing and fat biking in the winter) the market is very busy but in spite of the business the service is always prompt. We always look forward to returning!!
