I had the beans Torborgee with the jasmine white rice. So delicious and everything was well seasoned. Only thing I wished was a little bit more spice for my soup. I spoke to the lovely young lady at checkout and she told me next time they will be able to do that. Service was 10/10‼ The ambience is very welcoming. Felt welcomed the moment I walked in to the moment I left.

Top Ten Restaurant in Minnesota I've been to! I have grown up eating Liberian food with family my entire life. Good Liberian food can change your whole mood. The best Liberian restaurant I've ever had in Minnesota is Milahs African cuisine. This is my go to spot when I have a craving for Liberian food and I don't have someone to fix me a plate anytime soon. I always Get my food to order and the food is ready at the time they say. (Not Liberian time). Inside the dining area is clean and there is always someone friendly to greet you. I always get the potato greens and my wife likes the spinach. They are 13$ per order and can last for two full portions. The meal comes with the greens in one container and the rice in another. The food is well seasoned and has a good balance of meat (chicken, turkey)and potato greens. The greens usually are not too spicy for me at all but I do like heat. The average person not used to Liberian spice might call it spicy. I have also had the cassava leaf and that was excellent as well. Minnesota has the largest Liberian population in the United States and Brooklyn Park has the highest population of Liberians. This is the restaurant to go to for the most authentic home cooked meal feel.

I just ordered potato greens soup through door dash. You were out of potato greens so you called me and substituted cassava leaf soup. OH MY GOODNESS! Your food is the best!!! I have ordered from other Liberian/West African restaurants but your food has good spice and the flavor is heavenly!!! I'm really enjoying my food. I wish you abundant success!Thank you!!!

This place is super close to my parent's house so I decided to give them a try. I love Liberian food sk this exceeded my expectations. It takes quite a while for certain dishes to come out, but I'll take quality over speed any day. I wish they didn't run out of Peanut butter soup or egusi so early in the day, but I'll be back. Don't expect bubbly western customer service here, this is straight to the point and welcoming in its own way (the best Asian restaurants are like this too ).They were also following mask protocols, which is great.

The food is super good. I've been there a few times. Really good Cassava Leaf, good Potato Greens, and really good spinach so far. Super buttery taste and excellent spice.

We got takeout from Milah's, a Liberian restaurant located in Brooklyn Park (it's Black owned, and we have been trying to support as many of these businesses as we can lately). The cuisine here is West African, and while neither of us have ever been to Liberia, my wife said the dishes were pretty close to the ones she used to enjoy eating in Ghana. The Jollof Rice was absolutely amazing, it's a definite must-order item (it's also HUGE). The fufu was also really good, and if you have never had it, definitely at least get a side of it to try. The sweet potato greens were so/so; the dish was sort of on the smaller side and the taste was just ok (it's also spicy). We really wanted the peanut butter soup, but they were out of it (at 4PM!). We also wish they were a bit more cognizant of the COVID guidelines; most of the workers were not wearing masks, and they were not encouraging social distancing inside. All in all, I would recommend this place, but know that they might be out of one of your first choices, and they are not really following the social distancing recommendations.
