It's my neighborhood bar and I want to love it more, but dang I miss it's predecessor Sweet Pea's (though I would definitely recommend it over that other bar on the corner). As a vegetarian there are few options, and they are mostly carbs/fried food. I liked the pretzel nuggets but had to ask for the honey mustard that was promised on the menu. I think a chunkier German style mustard would be a better option. The cheese curds were a bit meh. The beer selection is okay. but the staff is great as is the location and seating options.

This place has turned over several times, but always has a really nice atmosphere and very friendly service. They have a new outdoor Astro-terf patio in the alley that is really nice looking. I had the Sweet Pork and Avacado bowl. I have to say the presentation was very off-putting, but after I mixed it up good it was quite tasty.

This was my first visit. I came to see The Tim Malloy's. perform. Alway enjoyable, and very talented.About Mike's;Service was excellent, the food, dry rub checken wings and house made fries, were well above average.I was there from 8pm to 11pm. I had two drinks. All prices were reasonable. I brought a round of drinks for the band, beers for the kitchen staff, and thenyo7ng college age couple sitting next to me. Gave the bartender a good tip. All in all it cost me $100.00. money well spent.It is definitely a collage bar. The kids were kind to this old man.A very enjoyable evening particularly the music.I will definitely return.Mike, the owner clearly know how to run this business.I wouldhave given 5 stars if the stage were a bigger.

The new patio is a great addition to the local tap-lighted, umbrellas, fire pit, nice tall tables and stools facing the street. A car show was happening so we saw some great cars passing.The food was delicious-monte cristo sandwich came as a true monte cristo with a light batter, gently deep fried, dash of powdered sugar and small side ofjam to dip it into.The pork/avocado bowl was simple but so much flavor-excellent ! The patio got a bit busy for the staff to manage but we were then on our way and will definitely return .

The food was super good. It was prepared quickly. The only thing is I would have liked friendlier service or some interaction . They never asked how the food was or if we needed anything and had to flag her down quite awhile after we were done to ask for the check.

The food is amazing and the staff is friendly. Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the bathrooms are so gross. The upstairs bar restaurant area is new, nice and clean. Downstairs bathrooms dirty, smelly and full of flies.
