Miaou Miaou is inside the Rand Tower Hotel so there weren't a lot of people there but a great chill sophisticated vibe. Good music.

This place had a pretty cool ambiance. However, the drinks were more expensive than I usually want to pay and the bar was a little too quiet. Get the martini to get more bang for your buck. It comes deconstructed and you basically get to make 2 drinks for the price of 1.

I'm out of town from Los Angeles and I'm here on business. Everything closes super early in downtown Minneapolis so if you're trying to get something to eat at a reasonable time, you might be able to look past the hour of 6 PM.I thought I might try this very swanky looking restaurant in my hotel, and I asked for a protein style burger, what I received was a burger with a bun -- and it was not medium well as I had specified, but Medium to the point of mooing! The bartender also recommended the leeks as a side of vegetables. I couldn't believe how tiny the portion turned out to be. I come from a pretty upscale city and I could not get over the fact that they were trying to pass this off as a $15 side dish. In addition, I didn't receive any utensils and the burger just turned into mush the second I tried to take a bite out of it -- and the cheese rolled off and I've been to PARIS, France TWICE -- this is not French bistro cuisine. It is not even close!I don't understand why they market it that way .., save your money.

I feel like Miaou Miaou has really fallen off since they first opened. Service was really meh and the cocktails are no different than what you can get in blondette or downstairs at Bar Rufus. I think the selections aren't very imaginative and rather lacking especially for the price tag. It feels like it has just turned into a hotel bar rather than a bar that happens to be in a hotel that's worth making the stop.

The cocktails at this bar are well elaborated and adorned. It is strategically positioned next to Blondette, its sister restaurant.Ordered Moonglow and an appetizer from their bar menu. Overall it's a beautiful location. They offer free valet parking to customers.

Came here on a Friday night, and the bar was a bit busy but definitely not full (about 3/4 tables were taken). While the servers were very nice, it was clear that they were understaffed. After being sat, it took about another 10 minutes to be given menus and another 20 until we received our (2) drinks. The drinks are fun and different, though a bit overpriced at $15 per cocktail. Felt much more like San Francisco priced than Minneapolis.

I travel into the Rand tower hotel and always visit Miaou. Thr best part is their consistency and the staffs ability to remeber their past customers - regular travlers. The food is solid along with the wine list. Ben keeps everything on point with standards and excellent service - cannot go wrong with sitting at this bar and enjoying your time wirh the staff and great drinks. Awesome enviroment.

Braved the snow last night and popped into the recently opened Miaou Miaou cocktail lounge on the 5th floor of the Rand Tower Hotel. Once you step off the elevator, just follow the glow of the pink neon and you will find yourself in the modern prohibition lounge that is Miaou Miaou. The cocktails are unique, intriguing and definitely tasty. The Moonglow, for example, is a clarified combination of Mezcal, Cherry, Tamarind, Dolin Blanc, Citrus, Pernod, and Soda. We will for sure be back for more sips and to try some of the smaller bites they also have in the menu.

Service and table management is awful. We arrived around 8:15 pm expecting a wait since it's a newer place, but it really wasn't busy. A table opened by 8:30 & we immediately sat & placed a drink order. There were a few glasses and a signed receipt from the last table, which took the server three attempts to clear (she kept walking up, reaching to grab the glasses, stopping and walking away to stand along the wall). At about 9, we asked our server how much longer as we still hadn't received our drinks (there were 4 of us, but we were splitting one drink tower to share). There were 3 bartenders behind the bar passively moving about and no line of people waiting. We were informed it would be at least another 30 minutes before our drinks would be out. We ended up canceling the order and leaving as we had a show to attend, but I wouldn't recommend.

First time in MN. I ..wanted to grab a bite ..to go so that I could .watch the game in my room. The female bartender with the blonde hair in a ponytail took my order. It was just after 7 when I placed my order as I was watching it on my phone. I thought that the initial service was great but she never came back to check on me nor check on my food order three innings later the male bartender probably noticed the frustration on my face and my nails clicking the counter and went to check on my food came back and told me that it would just be a few more minutes I continued to click my nails on the counter she never asked if I needed anything else the male bartender went back to the kitchen again and brought out my food during the entire time I was there she waited on a couple customers but her primary focus was her two friends that were sitting next to me. Shame on me for not reading the reviews first. If I would have known that my service was going to be so crappy I would have never left her a $10 tip on a $30 bill.
