Stopped for breakfast on a long drive home. Service was quick and the food was great. It is a typical family style diner.

Stopped as a break during a long distance drive and was very disappointed. Attentive, fast service but the food had serious issues. It seemed to us like OK food (maybe 3 stars) that was poorly executed by the cook working the Sunday morning we visited.Spinach, mushroom, and cheddar cheese omelette - 2.5/5. Good amount of cheese but started to get more and more greasy. The hash browns on the side had a slight crisping on the edges but were cold and uncooked underneath.Waffles with Fruit - 1.5/5. Fine waffle. But it was drenched in artificial strawberry sauce to the point of being soggy. The strawberries and sauce were cold, as if they had been taken out of the fridge and not warmed at all.

Service is okay. They don't really seem to care unless you're a regular. Food is great as long as it's not an omelet. Liquid egg isn't good and you can definitely tell. The pie is delicious

The serving sizes are huge! And it's all so delicious . Friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere

We stopped for breakfast on Sunday morning. A nice restaurant with quick service and great tasting food. Reasonable prices

We love this place! Diane is the best waitress ever! Food is amazing, no matter what you fancy. Portions are definitely fair sized, prices are very good too.

Stopped on a long drive on 94 to escape the traffic for a bit. Right when we pulled in I knew this place would be a hit. The restaurant really has a family feel to it (especially with the home baked pies!). Our server Diane took such great care of us - she was able to juggle a busy place with ease and a smile. Food was just what we needed!

Menomonie Family Restaurant is one of our favorite places. The setting is good, the service is wonderful and the food is always good. We especially enjoy breakfast at MFR. we highly recommend.

In Menomonie for work and found this place Sunday morning, and the breakfast was good. Returned on Thursday for lunch and wasn't near as satisfied. Chicken strips were undercooked. While trying to eat a lady was sweeping the floor under my feet. I went to the Cashier to pay, and the lady belched right in front of me.

Classic independent family restaurant experience. Plenty of comfort foods and a couple unique interesting options
