Small and dated inside but the food is the real gem here. Everything is made to order fresh with authentic sauces and recipes. Nothing comes off the food trucks in tubs. Lunch time buffet is $6.29 and menu items themselves are cheap. Bottom line: awesome Chinese if you can deal with not dining in a brand new restaurant. This place is a favorite

Not sure if the owners changed hands, but it was a different person at the counter since 2008. Still freezing and the heat doesn't go up to 70. The buffet wasn't filled and I said that's what I wanted. They haven't had the buffet for awhile now. Then remove it, morons. I left and won't be coming back til the buffet comes back.

I wanted to love this place since the service was great. We ordered special chicken chow mein and Kung Pao chicken. The Kung Pao chicken was 90% carrots and celery. It tasted like chicken noodle soup hotdish. More bland than a classic MN hotdish. The chow mein was goopy and tasteless. So much so that we actually threw it away. We are considering adding chicken broth to the Kung Pao to make it a chicken noodle soup.Cream cheese wontons and chicken fried rice were very tasty, but will never go back.

This place was a 5 star, they took off a lot of good buffet options. Put the steak and soup and chicken peanuts back.

Best Chinese place around! I've been doing here since I was a kid and it's always amazing. The sesame chicken, any of the lo mein, chow mein, and egg rolls are super good. Try the banana donuts too they're to die for!! Don't be intimidated by the exterior and surrounding area the owners are super nice and always give us extra treats.

If you are starving. And have recently had your taste buds surgically removed. And are required by the courts to remain within ten feet of 277 McKnight Road, then this may very well be one of your three best options. The food is exactly what you would expect from a strip mall Chinese restaurant. The words used around our table to discuss our meals were bland, goopey, tasteless, disgusting, vegetable-free and mystery-meat. It would be possible to turn those into positives, but I will assure you that in this case, we did not. My mom always said that if you can't say something nice, say nothing at all. So, I will say that within the first half-hour of consumption, the food has yet to make me violently ill. If that is as high as you set your bar when selecting restaurants, this is your place.

In the twin cities on business. Had an urge for Chinese. This place was only blocks from my hotel. I ordered chicken wings and sweet and sour chicken. The wings were fried, light breading with zero seasoning at all. Nothing and the breading was only very lightly browned. They were a big disappointment. The sweet and sour chicken was good but it lacked any vegetables other than 2 or 3 small chunks of pineapple. All in all I've been to plenty of chinese places better than this. I'd pass if I had the opportunity again.

My daughter brought back leftovers of the Chinese food she had ordered. She ordered the Won-tons, Sesame Chicken and fried rice. She loved the won-tons and ate every one of them, she said they are one of the best she has had. She liked the sesame chicken and rice.I had the leftovers for lunch the next day which, was fairly good. The sesame chicken was flavorful and had a slight heat to it. The fried rice was okay, lacked the veggies other places usually add in. I would have given it a higher rating, but the chicken had a soggy outer batter, which is most likely due to being overnight leftovers. :) I will have to try them again, freshly made.

A delightful Mom and Pop "hole in the wall." The only true Chinese restaurant in the area. Uses real beef instead of the plastic tenderized version so common in even high end so called Chinese restaurants. Order shrimp with pea pods and specify add ginger and garlic. Egg rolls and wontons made fresh in house, crispy. Delish!!
