Maxwell's Cafe & Grill

We placed a large order for takeout here after checking in at a local resort. We were looking forward to a great meal after a long day of driving. But when we got to the restaurant, we were told they canceled our order without any notice. The staff should have called us instead of waiting for us to arrive at the restaurant. This is very disappointing and discourteous service. After we left, we saw that the app updated our order with a note from the restaurant saying that they were closed even though their posted Yelp and Google listings both indicate open until 1AM. Hope this was a one-off.

This was a pretty chill hookah spot. The Price is about average for what you'd expect. They only have sidewalk seating, which isn't bad as far as traffic noise goes in the evening. They even have hookah covers for windy days (it absolutely came in handy).

We were trying to go to Sphynx, but it seems like they are either not open or have combined with Maxwell. I ordered the Lamb Gyro. This was a standard late-night gyro. The pita is not homemade and hot-fresh, but it's still chewy and soft. The gyro meat was salty and greasy and chewy. The tzatziki balanced out the greasiness of the lamb. All around this is not a bad spot to stop for late night and satisfy your fourth meal cravings. It's not exceptional, but it's fine.

The service was absolutely terrible. The cashier tried to convince me that swipe is not available and when I received my food, the portions were way less than advertise for how much it costed and was thrown together in such a messy way it was unappetizing. I'm never coming here again.

Just got a new menu and got hella options. I enjoyed. Quick, convenient, and filled me up, what more could you want?

It's within walking distance from my house, some nice guys work there. I haven't tried the hookah seating outside but it looks like it'd be fun with a group. The food is okay, kinda on the pricier side but it's nice to have a late night option that I don't have to drive to when I don't want to cook :)

This place is ridiculous.. I live close by and go in here all the time, since the quarantine shut down their prices have gone way up. They are price gouging, I paid $5 for a roll of paper towels, when asked why they just said "you know how it is" face masks are $25 for a cheap pack of face mask.. tonight I went in and potato's were $1 each from the smallest potatoes. I'm never going back. This place is out of control. They are ripping people off due to the fact everything else is closed. Not only that but they are rude af. Don't waist your time or money here!

Smells like feet when you first walk in horrible service nowhere to park no customer service food is nasty

These people are up charging more than %25 percent of market price which is called price gauging and it's illegal and could pay up to $1000 per item or $25,000 per day. I am reporting to the authorities.

Cecilia was the most amazing host. Views amazing! Drinks by Finely were so good! Great restaurant with an even better staff!
