Matt's Moving

I called Matt's on a Monday morning to see if they could move me the same day. I was in a sort of emergency situation, the move was very last minute, and timing was everything. Three of the best guys showed up, literally felt like they were saving my life. They stopped at my house to load my furniture, grill, etc., stopped at my storage unit to pick up all of other belongings; then hauled everything to my new home where they unloaded and put everything into place in each room. I was quoted 6 hours; they got it completed in 3.5 hours! These guys were super personable, extremely kind and caring; and fast and efficient as well. Honestly, I'm still in shock of how awesome they were! If you're on the fence, don't be - call Matt's Moving!

Great service at a great price. Have used them to move a loved one 3 times in 2 years. They have been fantastic every time. Honestly, they are now my go to in the Twin Cities. ​​

I hired this company to help me move in October 2023 and it was a bad experience. They showed up without any tools, damaged my $8,000 bed frame and $6,000 dresser, and their wardrobe boxes smelled like cigarettes. I went with them because they were cheaper than other companies, but it wasn't worth it. Find someone else if you care about your stuff.

They did everything that they promised pricing was reasonable. Glad we booked our parents move with them.

Great experience overall. We just moved last week from Iowa to Minnesota and used Matts. When I reached out to them, they were extremely patient with me. I had so many questions for them considering the many scams I was reading about, and Micah was so obliging with his responses, how many ever times I reached out with questions. On the day, the crew arrived an hour late because of rain and traffic, so I don't blame them one bit. As soon as they stepped in, they got to work. They moved us perfectly within the estimated time. They even got an extra helper once we reached Minneapolis but didn't charge us extra for that. Estimate vs what was charged was 100% accurate. Bills were provided immediately. I would 120% absolutely book them again for my next move!

Wouldn't recommend them when there are so many other options out there. Not friendly on arrival, parts broken off of furniture, charged more than quoted. Just find another mover

Matt's Movers were hire to emptied a house and garage to a dumpster.the crew of three arrived on time. This company had been used four times recently by family members and recommended.I found them to be lazy and unwilling to try to make room in the dumpster. They were hired for two hours left in approximately one hour and fifteen minutes.We were left to complete the garage. They even put tables in the dumpster that they were told stayed.Unfortunately I would not recommend this company.

As with all movers, be cautious. Matt's Moving came highly recommended but our experience was not good. I don't usually write reviews but feel consumers should know. A list of issues:-Poor communication by movers. We took a day off because movers were to arrive at a certain time window, they arrived 5 hours late and in the evening.-Items were broken, were not covered. we have thrown out 4 pieces of furniture due to damage so far and we are still unpacking.-Antique hand carved door damaged, minimal compensation and long scratch/dent in door still exists.-Movers threw cigarettes in our yard we needed to clean up.-Estimate was for two trucks, they baited and switched stating we needed three on packing days we refused a third truck as it would have increased our expenses by about $5000, they left items behind despite two trucks. On arrival to new house, one truck was 1/3 empty and could have held everything. we ended up renting a U-Haul and had to scramble for the items they did not take.-We were charged close to $2000 over the estimated amount.-Team expects tip at the end. -Stories between staff did not match.A very unfortunate experience for us.

Fast and efficient was satisfied with this mover would use them again. Just make sure you know they charge mileage on top of the quote.

Carelessly packed and then broke our expensive wood table. When asked to place it in refuse area of condo building so we could assess it later, they put it on their truck, then failed to return for two weeks, despite pledging to return it immediately. Upon finally retrieving it, it was destroyed and completely unrepairable. They don't know how to handle furniture properly.
