A friend recommended this place. Free street parking, pretty easy to find. Had a small town diner feel when I walked in. Walked right in and rdered and sat down. Staff was friendly and quick with the service. Not much space, more of a quick stop place for me. Ordered a sausage egg and cheese sandwich and hash brown. They have a variety of drink options but I got a glass of water. Food came out quick and fresh. Loved the sandwich, cheese is the date of the show even though the eggs were great as well. Would suggest eating with the wrapper holding it in place or it will slide out the bottom cause of the cheesiness.Hash brown extra crispy on the outside and soft potato on the inside, so perfect to what I like. Great experience and will probably go back since it's open a little later than other places with egg sandwiches I enjoy.

I don't see why you're still reading Marty's reviews and haven't already made a beeline for this shop. Marty's has the best focaccia sandwiches, and I highly recommend their $9 egg and cheese for first-timers, and paying the $2.50 extra for their hashbrowns (made in-house straight from the spud). Their sandwiches might look expensive ($14-15), but it can easily make 2 meals with how big they are (or share between two people). They also sell 2 slices of their focaccia for $4, which I highly recommend grabbing before you leave. Wheelchair accessible from the back entrance. Parking: free on street

Marty's just turned 2! A neighborhood staple in Northeast, with one of the best breakfast sandwiches in the city.Their egg sandwich ($9 base) comes with fluffy eggs, sharp American cheese, and garlic aioli. Beyond that, there are several add-ons that are worth your while--I usually alternate between braised greens (+$2) and/or bacon (+$3). Don't skip the hashbrowns either--they're on the smaller side, but SO crispy and perfectly seasoned!Their lunch sandwiches are a little on the pricier side, but worth every penny. My number one favorite is the Uncle Pete ($15), which is their take on a BLT, with bacon, lettuce, tomato AND pickled green tomato, basil, and pimenton aioli. You can also get a vegetarian version, the "Smoky Pete" ($14) with smoky mushrooms subbed for bacon, but the pro tip I learned from them is to get it with the smoky mushrooms AND bacon and it literally changed my life... it does get a little soggier faster with the smoky mushrooms because they are JUICY so you'll want to eat it immediately, but man is it good.No clue if they still do, but when I lived in the area, they offered a 10% Northeast Neighbor discount which I thought was so sweet--definitely persuaded me to order out instead of making breakfast many a time. They've also got a rotating cast of goods in their fridge case, from things like pimento spread and whipped feta to potato salads and soups, plus beverage options like coffee, juice, and THC drinks.The staff there are all AMAZING, and incredibly helpful and kind, even on the busiest days with a line out the door--it's a small joint (only maybe half a dozen tables, but I heard they've maybe added some outdoor patio seating for the warmer months?) so I most times just ended up taking my food to go.Also, Marty's dad himself, Notary Dave, offers free notary services there on Thursdays from 8-10am! Shoutout to Notary Dave!

Just moved to the neighborhood and this is our local deli. I got the jackpot! Tried the Raffi Luigi and Uncle Pete. Think of the Luigi as an Italian, but so much more sophisticated. The star of the meal for me was Pete. It's like an adult blt. The heirloom tomatoes were perfect and hit the spot. I already want another one. Line was out the door of that tells you anything. It moved quick though. A little pricey, but worth it to me.

Marty's Deli has the best chicken salad sandwich I've ever had. So much flavor packed in between soft buttery bread. The chocolate cookie was amazing as well. I can't wait to go back to try more of their lunch sandwiches, as well as breakfast!

What a great little deli! When you're making your own fresh breads, using local meats and veggies and coming up with unique sandwich combinations, what could be better? This place is so good, but watch out, it can get busy and you'll waiting to get your order in. But once your order is in, they do a great job of making it asap and getting it to you. Not a lot of seating, but they have a nice patio outside. It's crowded inside if you dine in, and seating is limited, so if you don't like tight spaces, get that sandwich to go. I've never been for breakfast, but have seen the line down the block, so if you go on the weekends, get there early! It's a tad pricey, but the portion sizes are really good. Two people could easily share a sandwich, but it's so good you might just want to eat it all yourself. Great spot for lunch, give them a chance, you'll be glad you did!

I was running some errands and realized how close I was to Marty's Deli, so I felt the only acceptable move to make was to go for lunch. Parking was pretty easy. I found a spot right on the street in front of a home in the area. I did notice people walking across the street to a parking lot, but really unsure about that situation. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a friendly hello and asked what I'd like to order. Looking at the menu prior to walking in, I had my mind set on The Gigi, but unfortunately, they were out of turkey. I was SO bummed! So, I quickly need to decide on something else. The gal taking my order recommended the Pool & Yacht. She said the chicken salad was phenomenal. I was excited to try something new and boy, oh boy did that yummy Sammy hit the spot! DELISH! The focaccia bread takes the sandwich to a different level. The chicken salad was so flavorful. The red onions gave it a great crunch. I thought it was a very decent size and it lasted me two meals. I can't wait to try the incredible looking breakfast sandwiches and that hash brown everyone raves about all over social media. There's a little bit of seating available and more seating along the window- diner-ish style seating. They also have some hot sauces, tea, andMayo for sale. I'll be back so very soon!

We finally got over to Marty's after months of wanting to; we made it just in time for breakfast, which was what I was looking forward to! I got the egg & cheese sandwich with hash browns & it was AMAZING. The bread was delicious, there was so much cheese, & the hash browns added a nice crisp & saltiness. We also split some potato salad, which was super dilly & had a tasty bit of spice to it, too. My husband got the Uncle Pete (BLT) & loved it as well. The space itself is really cute, with almost all signage being hand painted, which is a cool touch. I ended up buying a hat because their branding is so good :)Everyone who helped us was super friendly & made us feel welcome, even with the deli style ordering system. All in all, this place rocks & we'll absolutely be back!

Stopped by since we were in the neighborhood and looking for something new a couple weeks ago.It was busy when I arrived. I was greeted right away when I got inside. Staff was fast and friendly. It was a bit small to medium sized space inside.I ordered the Pool and Yacht. THAT was absolutely delicious and chicken salad orgasm in my mouth! Haha. I plan to go back and try other options for sure!
