A little too broad a menu you end up missing the start of the movies. Staff can be super hit or miss never rude just odd. Best seats in the business though. Soda machine is always messed up but I still love this place

A nice movie theater!! Sooooo many options for seeing movies. They have heated seats, dine in (they serve you), or just a good ole theater experience in recliner seats. They have a bar and multiple food/concession options. My first time going here, seen Little. Got here early for the dine in experience. It was recommended getting there 15-30 minutes before showtime to order food. I ordered a buffalo wrap & the Spider-Man drink. The wrap was okay. The drink was good.

I've been here so far at least on 4 different occasions and all have been spectacular. I've seen Wonka, Barbie, Soul and Migration....so far. Many more movies to come. The location cannot be beat - 36 and 694 (oakdale). I'm big on making my reservation using the app so I know exactly where I'm going to sit in my big plush red reclining chair and skip the line. Woo hoo! Also if you go to the movies frequently I would suggest doing the app and sign up for the movie rewards too! You can even order food/snacks prior to arriving. They make it soooo easy! They also have their discount day on Tuesdays! A way to save money! As a side note, some theaters run a little chilly so I always bring a cozy blanket too! My go to place for watching movies on the big screen! Yay!

We came for the Inside Out 2 movie and event they had hosted. This was my first time at a theatre that has hosted such an event and I absolutely love the idea! The staff was friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our whole experience.

Parking is easy as they're semi secluded and have a large parking lot. Love that you can order tickets and food for pickup online. It made the movie going experience easy. It's a little confusing in that if you join the Marcus Magical Movie Rewards you get free drink refills but the drink station itself is in its own little section, including the icee machines. It's been a while since I've been to the movies but their food options has evolved so much! Their hotdogs are great in theory but honestly hard to eat in the dark because there's a lot of condiments in it, very thankful I didn't get any on my clothes. Seats are comfortable and have reclining option. Overall it was a good experience for my niece and nephews who don't often go to movies.

This is your standard movie theater. Yes, prices are steep here, but that's just how things are nowadays. I went here yesterday for a 8pm viewing of Inside Out 2 (such a good movie, 5/5 stars, but this isn't a view for the movie). I got last minute tickets and the only tickets left were front row, but with the reclining seats, I didn't have to crane my neck to see the screen. Overall this theater is good enough. The place is clean, but as a professional carpet cleaner, I can't help but question the state of the theaters carpet. There's not many theaters left in the area so I guess I get what I get and can't throw a fit. Oh well!

Wow. Im from Sacramento Ca visiting. This is an extremely nice theater! The seating was extremely comfortable and recliner was very nice. The arcade area looked fun and the restaurant bar was a nice addition. I can't say if all theaters are like this but here it was a treat. Back home we have movie chains similar but thus felt more pleasing. In my opinion. Men's restroom was clean and comfortable. Parking was great and the concession stand was efficient. Good selection of treats along with food. I would recommend and if I'm back would look forward to watching a movie here again.

This is my second time at Marcus Oakdale. My sister and I saw the movie Ordinary Angels on a Friday night at 9:30pm. Theater was fairly busy, but not surprised considering it was the weekend. Being heading it the movie, we stopped at the concessions for a beverage and popcorn. The gentleman at the counter didn't seem very eager to help us. However, we got our items and went on our way. Popcorn was fine, nothing special. Theater was clean. The staff we crossed paths with didn't say anything. Undecided if I'd return to this theater or not.

Pros: Recliner seats, easy to purchase tickets online, movie started on time, large parking lot, relatively clean counter spaces, mobile scan in, quick concession lines, strong customer service and additional food outside of standard candy and popcorn such as pizza, fries, mozzarella sticks, salads, etc. Negative: 1-star popcorn night which really ruined the full potential experience for me. It was stale. I will be back if the popcorn can be made fresh.

One of the nicest movie theatre's in the Twin Cities: clean, well-staffed with people who are friendly and attentive, clean restrooms and high quality movie presentation. The Ultrascreen auditorium here has to be one of the largest auditoriums--and movie screens--in the state, rivaling AMC's Imax. It's a drive to get there, but worth it. Also fun to enjoy a decent meal and a cocktail at the Take Five Lounge before or after a movie. This place has got it all.
