I've never had authentic pupusas before and this is the spot to be for first timers! They were flavored well, had a lot of meat and cheese where the cheese was just melted to perfection. Great crust on the outside and the veggies on the side were perfectly seasoned and strong in oregano. The plantains were a nice sweet savory by itself and even better when dipped in beans and/or creama. Atmosphere was lovely and clean. Parking was a bit hard to get but I don't mind a 2-3 block walk after a big meal. Servicer was nice and always checked in on us

First time. I had the rebuelta pupusa. Pollo guisado, chicken stew. Tender dark pieces with potato and carrot. It's the best rice I ever had at a Mexican/Latin restaurant and I gobbled it right up. At first I mixed it with the beans but discovered I loved in on its own. A good size medium horchata, watermelon drink, nice and sweet. I definitely want to try more items. The AC is just right. I'd like the music less blaring, but I appreciate that it's not Guantanamera for the millionth time.

I'm not completely sure what it is that my friend gets from here for us, but it is amazing.. papusas maybe? I don't know.. but I send her to get them often. I feel it speaks volumes that I don't even know what it is and yet I will shove it in my face so fast!!

First time going here!! You have to try the pupusas!! We also got the yucca fries. This place is authentic as it gets, the menu is half Spanish and it feels like a different county inside. All parking is on street but the streets are very friendly. Very nice hidden gem, go support small businesses!!

I realized I've never left a review for this place! Which is surprising because I go here all the time. Amazing pupusas - not just the pupusas revueltas but their salsa and slaw *drooling just thinking about it*. It's not a super huge area for diners (but definitely enough to sit down and enjoy if you wanted) and there's not a clear parking lot (but we've never had trouble finding street parking nearby). But the food is great and the service is wonderful as well. It's decorated in bright colors so a great place to visit in the winter when it's gloomy outside!

Yes! The best Salvadorian food we've found in the twin cities!!! So excited to be able to have fresh pupusas again. Big Dave tried the Sopas and really liked them. Nice cabbage slaw and plenty of it!!! A new go to place.

I loved trying the pupusas! Very cheesy and delicious.We were served our food and one pupusas was forgotten. Once we mentioned something they took care of the problem right away.We only ordered pupusas and were served one coleslaw looking dish.Service was ok food was excellent!

Friendly service. Delicious good. Authentic feel! Would recommend to anyone who wanted a papusa.

Service sucks if you're a white person. Sat here 30min after eating and the waitress never came back. Looked me in my eyes 4-5 times and just walked past us. I highly considered walking out. Food was good service sucks. I will never be back. It's a shame because the food is one of my favorites. Been here multiple times.

Visited La Mañana Restaurant on Sunday June 16, 2024, which was a holiday. I was very surprised to see that the restaurant was not busy, there were only three table including mine. However, the reason for my low rating has to do with the very poor service. The cooks were absolutely unprofessional, signing Karaoke from the kitchen very loudly, which was different music than the one playing in the restaurant; therefore, you could hear the unprofessional detorsion. Our food took over 45 minutes to arrive, so I got up to see what was going on in the kitchen, which you can clearly see from a hallway, saw the two cooks messing around and eating food with their bare hands. No gloves, no hair cover and I asked directly the status of my food, to what they responded that they were working on. The server never stopped by our table to ask if we needed anything else. The few things that we asked for never came, never got our water, we order two appetizers and never got them. Very very dissapointed about the service and to see how deteriorated this place is. Additionally, I called the restaurant to speak with a manager and provide the feedback, however I was told that there was no one in charged, and the owners do not go to the restaurant at all. I had no choice but to submit a review and a formal complaint through the BBB.
