Great Fish &Chips joint. They have the options of fish to choose from. Cod is the always my preference when it comes to fish & chips. Tartar sauce was more like a Range dressing for me.Friendly service and calm ambiance.

We tried their honey mustard and jalapeño key lime sauces and they were absolutely delicious! Not a huge slaw eater either, but theirs has been the best i've ever tasted in my life! We were looking for fried chicken, but this place popped up and we knew we just had to try it! We can't wait to go back!

This is a little hole in the wall restaurant, but it has the best fish and chips and cheese curds! It's super casual, only a couple tables and you order at the counter. There's a fun where's Waldo next to one of the tables that my kids like to look at while we wait for the food. They also offered to bring it to you in your car, so it's super flexible and the staff is really nice. We always get it to go and we always have amazing food every single time! I never would have walked into this place on my own, but thanks to the Groupon I decided to give it a try and now we are hooked! I feel like it's a hidden neighborhood gem.

First time at this location in Minneapolis/Richfield. Grew up going to the one in St Paul as a kid. It was literally a hidden gem back then! Counter style and find your own table with a few outside tables.I only knew of the halibut previously but now they offer other types of fish and even shrimp. They were always known for their incredible fried Halibut so I stuck with the fried and true and wasn't disappointed! The portion size has shrunk tremendously and it's a little pricey for the small piece of fish you get but it's worth trying at least once in your life! Get the homemade tartar sauce and fries!! Winner Winner Fish Dinner in my book!

My bf and I's fav comfort food in the area! Whichever fish you get it'll be a good size and fried to perfection. If you like a fishy taste and firm bite, the mahi mahi is a STEAL! Make sure to keep the bag open if you're picking up so that the steam doesn't soggy up everything. The lime tartar sauce is the best and their poutine is heavy on the toppings. Service has always been fast despite everything being made to order. Will be back again and again for sure! Not really a sit down type of establishment - but I've never had an issue finding parking on the street!

4.5 stars! The fish was perfectly cooked, very crunchy with just the right amount of salt. Fries and cheese curds were okay but could be better. Tartar sauce was almost sweet which was a tiny bit strange.

Decided to try out Mac's after driving past them a few days ago. Went around 2:30pm on a Friday and it was pretty quiet. Only one table of folks eating inside. They have a parking lot, which is convenient so you don't have to worry about street parking. We ordered shrimp and chips, which were quite tasty. The fries are cut fresh and fried to order. They had a light seasoning but weren't too salty. We also tried out the cod and halibut. Both tasted fresh and were fried beautifully. The chicken strips were okay. I probably wouldn't order those again. But I enjoyed their seafood! They have a range of sauces to choose from (get the key like jalapeño sauce) and all baskets come with coleslaw. I'd go back and would recommend them to others!

I ordered 2 pc. walleye and fries. I loved that everything was cooked fresh right there. Both the fish and fries tasted like fish and fries, not grease! The fish was light and flaky. Taste like a tempora batter and they sprinkled it with salt flakes right after it came out the oil(I was taught that way). It was really good. We got it to go. I forgot to take a picture, because I was ready to eat! I will go back.
