Visited Lynette with my family on New Years Day -- we had a table in the back of the restaurant. It was really cozy and inviting. I loved the bookshelves and the overall ambiance. Kind of a unique style of menu as there is a happy hour 2-4pm with a small menu and you can't order dinner till 4pm. Not bad, just different!I had the mussels which were amazing! A little different with a red sauce, but there was braised lamb in the sauce which was delicious. Would definitely get again. I also had a pork belly and risotto which had very tender pork belly that my son ate most of. My daughter got the cheese burger which was fantastic. My in-laws shared the crab ragoon pizza - it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Definitely more rich, great to share. Spicy margarita was very good too. There were great mocktails too. I can't remember what desserts we had - but they were also delicious. Service was great! Very attentive server who gave us some great recommendations. I'll be back!

My friend and I came here for brunch and had a great time! We sat at the bar, the bartender was very attentive and gave great recommendations. The vibe was a great neighborhood feel. -I enjoyed the Bloody Mary a lot! -The stuffed French toast had good flavor but a bit too hard/crunchy.-Loved the focaccia ham and cheese. The house-made focaccia was so buttery and delicious. I'm a sucker for anything with a good aioli. -Definitely recommend the quiche! Can't wait to come back for dinner :)

Yes, was so happy to visit Lynette after Lyn65 closed and was very happy that the pizzas and chicken were on the menu. A bonus kicker was complimentary soft serve cones (mini guys) were offered after dinner. Drinks are always on tap, plus Lynette has a full coffee bar for their breakfast folks, so they have real espresso for those who want to indulge in an espressy martini for dinner (or lunch). Service is great and getting in early gives you the option to belly up at the bar, which is always entertaining and good people watching.Lynette is located in south Minneapolis, kiddy corner from the Riverview Theater. There is plenty of free street parking, or walkable for those who live nearby. Definitely plan to return to grab a burger and more drinks, plus the free soft serve!

Lynette truly feels like a restaurant where locals come to grab a bite. People of all ages, dressed in all different attire, blend seamlessly together to make this new-ish Minneapolis spot as diverse as its food. I love the cozy booths with personal lamps, the tiled floor that gives cafeteria vibes but in a nostalgic way, and the big, bold bar from which the rest of the restaurant seems to draw energy. Our waitress was spectacular and by the time we finished our meal, there was a cluster of hungry humans awaiting our departure. The drinks: I stick with red wine, but if I had to recommend a cocktail, it would undoubtably be the Gucci. It's slightly herby yet smokey from the mezcal, and definitely liquor forward. The small plates: get the roasted sweet potato dish; do not be turned off by the combination of apples and coconut curry puree. I would honestly order this as a main. The sweet potatoes are tender medallions coated in this rich curry sauce with bright pops of flavor from the apples. The roasted broccoli was also a table favorite; it's cooked until just crispy and then piled on this creamy blue cheese concoction, too small for a main but perfect to share. The mains: I made the mistake of ordering pizza. I have my favorite pizzas around the cities (Rosalia, Young Joni, Station Pizza, Sanjusan, Boludo) and not that the lamb pizza was bad, but it was bland and tasted like a straight forward sausage pizza, crust lacking flavor. The burger, on the other hand, was fantastic. Two smash patties with American cheese and dijonnaise, simple and elegant, just as any good burger should be. I did not try the scallops but were told they were "maybe the best I've had" by one of my dining partners. High praise, given that they typically order scallops anytime they appear on the menu. Overall, Lynette seems to have its mind set on being a neighborhood restaurant, something I think it has almost already achieved. The veggie dishes and drinks are stars. They have an excellent burger and other creative dishes. Do not be boring and get pizza, not worth it here!

Lynette has a gorgeous interior space that felt so welcoming! We stopped by for coffee and pastries one morning and loved everything we got. The pastries were cold but tasty and I really enjoyed my vanilla latte. Ordering at the counter was quick and easy.I'll definitely be back to try their lunch and/or dinner!

We had a reservation and was seated right away at 4:45pm. The restaurant was not busy but slowly guests started arriving and filling up the dining area. Service was prompt and drinks were good and strong for the price. Food was tasty and very flavorful. Noise level was medium and not loud that we couldn't hear each other. First time here and it was very conveniently located within walking distance to the Riverview Theater.

I really enjoyed my meal at Lynette! I went with two girlfriends and we tried the cauliflower, hummus & pita, mussels, crab Rangoon pizza, carrots, and pork ravioli. The surprising favorite was the crispy cauliflower! Can't go wrong with fried food I guess, but the flavors of the entire dish were on point. The hummus and warm pita was also super good. Ravioli was quite tasty, surprisingly it was a vegetarian ravioli with slices of pork belly on the side. The mussels were a little disappointing, not from an execution or freshness standpoint, but I didn't love the sauce they came with (it was tomato based) and we agreed we would have preferred a classic French style with lemon, white wine, etc. The pizza was good but not great-- probably would try a different flavor next time. The service was really kind and the space itself is large and airy, it was easy to have conversations and didn't feel too crowded on a Tuesday night. A super nice touch at the end of the meal is that they offer complimentary mini vanilla soft serve cones!! Great way to end the night. I will definitely come back for brunch or to explore more of the menu.

Amazing food! We made reservations. Parking on street was easy. We ordered a few of the dishes including the corn fritters, broccoli and scallops. Excellent. And then they bring you ice cream. Coconut milk. Doesn't get much better than that.

Stopped by after my show at the Riverview across the street for a drink and definitely want to come back to try the food!Old fashioned was one of the better ones I've had in quite awhile and very refreshing. Atmosphere is warm and cozy. Staff and servers were really great. One of the servers recognized my friend who was there earlier to have dinner before my show and stopped by and made an effort to ask how it went.
