I had a fantastic experience at lowrys My car was having major issues, and I was worried about the cost and time it would take to get it back on the road. From the moment I walked in, the team was incredibly helpful and professional.

Honest and reliable . John is great with his customers and always tries to do the best possible job.

This review is long overdue. This happened a few years ago so hopefully johns service has gotten better but I know I will never ever recommend them nor ever use their services again.When my car broke down and needed to be towed here, after a period of time John himself rudely told me my engine was fried and condescendingly told me I must not maintenance my car and that I never get my oil changed. The audacity of this man to take advantage of me (a young lady who maybe looks the type to not take care of her cars) like this was absolutely ridiculous. I maintain my cars meticulously and actually had just recently had my oil changed. He didn't believe me. I already have ptsd from other mechanics assuming things just because I'm a put together "girly" looking girl. Awful experience with no help whatsoever.

Quick and friendly service. They got my car in right away when I called and got me on the road in a timely manner.

If I could give a less than zero star, I would. I've called to many different auto mechanic shops before and they've all given me a ball park estimate on things that I told them over the phone. John continued to cut me off on the phone when I explained to him what I needed and wanted in my vehicle. Zero tolerance for women, zero customer service, and didn't even consider what I was looking for. He kept insisting I come in when all I wanted was 5 mins for him to input my vehicle info in the system like all other shops and give me an estimate of replacement for my rear shocks. This is the finest version of cheap sales men. First time impression was terrible and I will never give my business to them.

Can't really tell, needed a quote for a brake job, never got one. Needed it done so took care of it another way.

I've been patronizing Lowry Auto for almost 15 years. Even after moving to a neighboring city I'll bring in my vehicle because I trust them. Ex: Last Fall we tried a place closer to our home which was a chain that rhymes with "Ray Run Ronest Rauto" and was the opposite of what's advertised. I called Lowry and told them what they diagnosed amd the quote retrieved my car which they fixed and were polite about (A) the fact they recognized it was a rip off and (B) that I was stepping out with another mechanic. If you are in NE Minneapolis or nearby, and need your ride checked out, please give them your busines.

John and his crew are the best! I recommend them to everyone. I was trying to recommend to a friend and she told me she already has a guy she loves, it was John. He's a super straight forward honest guy, which is priceless in a mechanic! He saved me about $1200 by tracking down a used part for my truck.

Fantastic service! I had done some work on my vehicle and asked them to run a diagnostic to let me know what else needed to be fixed. They did exactly what I asked for, let me know what needed to be replaced, and never tried selling me on work I didn't need. They even offered to relearn the sensor after I replaced it. Very honest and professional.
