Lost Fox

Went here for silent book club on a Wednesday evening and oh my goodness! Such a cute spot! Coffee shop on one half and more restaurant on one side. Super chill vibes. Some people hanging out, other s with laptops. It was a very interesting mix.We LOVED the sweet curry wings and the fries were HUGE for $6. Will be back again!

Ambiance is awesome, chill. Great art on the wall. Bar, food, coffee what can't you love!?A Ghostly Bargain - whoa!! Very citrusy, full of gin flavor. With an aftertaste of sasparilla which is very interesting I really love the decor and the people that work here are very beautiful!!

My friend and I came here for dinner and loved the vibes! The front half of the space is a coffee shop and the back half is a restaurant / bar. They had live music starting as we were leaving. I love live music so this was a positive in my books! The staff were friendly and attentive. We went around dinner time and were able to get a table right away. I ordered the Cubano Sammie and my friend ordered the Pulled Pork Sammie. Our sandwiches were ok, not the best we've had, but we'd both come back again for sure to try other items on the menu and enjoy the good vibes!

I stopped in around 4pm on a Friday. The bartender was friendly and welcoming. Our waitress was horrible at best, there were 2 tables there when my party arrived, took awhile to get service, watched as 1 table chased down someone to pay for their meal, as the waitress made and had a drink, chatted with kitchen staff then joked with other people I. The adjoining coffee section. Ordered a burger with no cheese (intolerance and food allergies) of course burger came with cheese and the waitress argued with me, stating it is butter, but when she went to kitchen to request a redo, you could clearly hear the attitude in her voice, because I did not want the burger, and you clearly hear the cook say he made a mistake with the cheese. So if you have food allergies I would avoid this place.So I could not tell you about the food, but, the fries were hot.

I love the location of lost fox! I'm usually not in downtown St. Paul but the area around this cafe is sooo beautiful!! I loved it! There is plenty of street parking but you do have to walk as lost fox is right in front of the green/blue line so there is no parking. However the walk was super cute as you can see the buildings and there is a nice park a block away. Lost fox itself is HUGE and I love the cozy ambiance they have!! It is great for a study session especially since they're one of the only shops that are open later, closing at 10pm and 1am on weekends. There's so much space and a side that is busier than the other, one for eating with a bar and tables, while the other side is more for studying with a coffee bar and plenty of outlets. The bathrooms are very clean too and require a code. The only downfall here was the actual service. I tried to order a coffee as I believe there is not heating there, however nobody was at the bar so I asked someone in the restaurant side and she said she would send someone over. 30 minutes in line and there were about four other sets of customers in line with me but nobody came over. This was on a Monday night and I just sat back down, I understand they could have just been busy but I would definitely still recommend this spot!

Stopped and tried some lunch. Really great atmosphere, open and bright with lots of games. You could walk up to the counter and order or pick a seat and have a waiter come over. We ordered lunch and some drinks. Service was great. And we were able to get in and out quickly!

I'll be so for real, I was quite intoxicated by the time I joined friends here for drinks so my recollection may be a bit shotty, however I did like the atmosphere in addition to all of the beer options. Nice little cocktail menu and of course they serve wine. They apparently also serve some pretty tasty looking food! It's a local hangout spot super close to where I live and I'd definitely come back.

Stopped in for some quick apps and drinks. The vibes of Lost Fox were a great first impression - very open, bright, and welcoming. A good selection of drinks, both N/A and alcoholic. I tried the queso fries and they were very good. I want to come back and try more options when I have more time.

The Lost Fox has a great atmosphere, and overall, the food and service were excellent. Our bartender was attentive and sociable, and most of the dishes we tried were well-executed. We ordered the Chicken Tinga fries, the BB Burger, and Chicken Wings. Everything was great with the exception of the wings. On their website, the picture makes them look really fantastic, but when ordered, that wasn't so at all. They were not broken down properly (they were served with the drumette, flat, and tip all intact), not crispy enough, and completely oversauced. All of these issues just ruined the dish . A little more attention to detail there would have made the experience perfect. That said, I'd still come back to try more of the menu, as everything else was really great.
