It's a cool playground, great for that 4-10 range. The theme is a good idea and the equipment inside sticks with it. There are a lot of nooks and crannies to explore and a tall climbing tower with slides. Given the outdoor theme there are hard edges and blind corners all over the place, I witnessed multiple kids bang into each other, luckily all appeared ok. Unfortunately not a good toddler area, really no where safe smaller kids can be to avoid others running into them or knocking them over. The seating area for parents isn't great either, not a lot of space and difficult to keep an eye on the playground and your kids given how the playground is kind of tucked in the basement. No concession or refreshment options other than vending by Library, also only drinks at the parents tables, have to go out and up flight of stairs for snacks if you don't have a room reserved.

This place has it all. A rainforest in the atrium, a huge library and an indoor gym! I have to say I was here about a year ago when my kid was just about to turn 4 and he was hesitant on a lot of the playground areas. We just went back for a classmates 5th bday and he tackled so much more. Definitely some big kids that are a little more rambunctious but that can happen everywhere. Great on a snowy or rainy day! They also can host birthday parties (obviously after I mentioned that above). Huge bday rooms.

Pricing seems decent for the kids to have fun, sort of ridiculous that food isn't allowed in the area with tables and chairs and even more ridiculous that the desk woman just pointed at me and screamed at me in front half a dozen other parents that they absolutely do not allow food in here. Maybe train your staff to have some more manners in a customer service job.

My main experience is regarding a 4 year old birthday party in April 2016. First, the kids loved it which is probably the most important as the party was not ruined, but the parent user experience once we arrived at Lookout Ridge was subpar. Party was double booked, staff there on a busy Saturday did not know much about parties other than setup and giving out bands. Table was not set up upon arrival, we were also short cupcakes that were prepaid. All of this was remedied but it was after our party time and stressful for me as the host. Not enough room to put gifts down for a large party nor enough seating for adults. I received no phone call after a less than stellar review to discuss issues. By mistake I left a package there and staff was patient and great about reminders, however, when going to pick up the present today, I was greeted by a RUDE staff member that literally said "What do you want?!" when she opened the door. I was told by email the present was in the office and assumed that was in the Lookout Ridge area. She told me it was probably at the information desk upstairs and when getting more clarification on where it was she was annoyed like I was supposed to know where it was located. I will not be back here for an outing and definitely not back for another birthday party. I have also shared my thoughts with the other parents who inquired about my experience there.

It is a big indoor park in a great mall area. Has a tall play structure for kids and some small tables with chairs. Sure the chairs are not the most comfortable but it's ok.

Not for kids who are learning manners or have special needs. My three year old autistic son is learning how to interact with kids. He enjoys the environment, but has a tendencay to hug other kids when he wants to play with them. Of course I follow him around and try to re-direct. He's not violent. Two dads have yelled at my toddler right in front of me . Last weekend, a particularly cranky and impatient dad snatched his toddler daughter away and yelled "hey, absolutely not, we do not touch other kids, get off" and another separate dad on another day crouched down and looked at my son eye level, grabbed his shoulders, and said "never grab my kid again". I was so stunned, and nobody else seemed to be. Needless to say, I'm quite scarred for awhile and we'll be going other places. I was present, with him, not on my phone, and this happened twice in front of me as I was trying to peacefully but safely parent. This is not the facility's fault - it is a busy but clean environment and we used to like to stop in to burn some energy. But maybe this small review will encourage the facility to post signs like "kids are learning, let's be patient" or "we're inclusive here and all leaning" or other mottos to help toddlers (cough, I mean parents) learn to play with others. Or maybe this review will make a parent stop and take a breather before touching another kid.

We booked a birthday party for our son. The place itself is a lot of fun for the kids. But the birthday party was unfortunately nearly ruined by Green Mill. First off, they brought 5 plates for 17 children. They brought no napkins. And they brought the wrong pizza order. By the time they came back with the correct order, the kids were all done eating because the party was nearly over. So we handed Pizza out to all of the people who were there who weren't in our party. Lookout Ridge took no responsibility, because they said they don't have plates or napkins or any of that stuff even though that comes with the birthday party package that they sell you. Since they don't allow outside food you are at their mercy.
