Cute little bistro style lunch stop. I ordered the barbacoa sandwich with a side salad; the sandwich was decent but I more enjoyed the salad with a mango pear vinaigrette. The Philly soup was delicious. Probably my favorite thing. My husband got the chicken sandwich and it was okay but over dressed.

Went to Lola's for lunch with the family. Three people tried the Pot Pie which was delicious one of the three had a lot of carrots in it which made the dish too sweet. My cousin ordered the Pork Bahn Mi with a side of wild rice soup. The soup was really good but the sandwich lacked flavor. My husband and I shared the Four Cheese Steak Grinder with a side of rosemary garlic fries. The sandwich was okay it lacked flavor. My steak was barely lukewarm. However the fries were amazing and very flavorful!Inside the restaurant is super cute and has quite a few seating options. You walk up to the counter order and pay they'll give you a number and deliver your food where you're sitting.

I love coming to Lola's when visiting New Ulm. Recently my husband, niece and I had a delicious meal topped off with Schell's 1919 local root beer. I had the chicken torta sandwich which came with a side. I got the tomato basil soup and gave it to my niece. It was one of the best tomato soups we'd all ever tried - yum!! I couldn't resist the nachos since they came with pepperjack cheese. I enjoyed them a lot and it was easy to share. My husband debated between the chicken pot pie and Mac and cheese and ended up with the pasta. We all thought it was delicious but he felt it was a small portion size. The service is always friendly and helpful. We love the charming decor and ample seating. The menu is amazing and there's something for everyone. Long live Lola's!

I was skeptical at first, but everything I have ordered has always been delicious and flavorful! So far I've tried their mouthwatering barbacoa melt, blue corn nachos, rosemary fries, tzatziki bowl, and a number of their varying soups. They also offer a variety of coffee and drinks for everyone. Today I had the chicken pot pie and it was flaky, creamy, and warm. Perfect for this weather! I will keep coming back and recommending :)

Without a doubt the best Chicken Pot Pie I've ever had! Huge, overreaching puff pastry w rich creamy sauce.When I ordered it, I asked if the pie was really good. All the help in the vicinity began shaking their heads in unison, saying it was amazing. So I took their word. I don't think you'll be disappointed!

Tried this place twice while visiting so good and flavorful would definitely recommend. It's a chill place to hang out with friends. * Got the a hot latte with hazelnut syrup so good they also have extra half and half creamer so you could adjust it to your liking.* Sandwiches are kinda pricey but it's a local owned business so I didn't mind! * Roast Beef Po' Boy I definitely recommend ask for little tomato so they pack the beef (side of chips)* South West turkey melt is the other sandwich in the picture (had onions btw, side of chips)* Free water for non coffee drinkers as well (ig: r.ashleyy)

I live in NYC now and am not back in town that often (years between visits), but I do make sure to stop at Lola. Food always exceeds my expectations. The Pork Bahn Mi has all the right elements to make a flavorful and delicious sandwich.I appreciate seeing a hometown restaurant expanding the menu from the cafe/bistro basics. The Chicken Wild Rice soup is also well seasoned. Not your bland Midwestern food.

Blueberry pancakes for breakfast! Incredible. Great flavor and texture. Served warm. And the stack isn't so big that you're overstuffed when you're done. Service was 3 stars. Everything was there. No problems, but nothing special. The staff was kind of dry neutral. The inside of Lola is a darker restored old brick building. It was hot and sunny outside so this was nice. I liked it. I will definitely stop in again when I'min New Ulm and hungry!
