This is my favorite hotpot spot in MN right now. Service is pretty fast most of the time. They have you use a check list to choose what you want, then they bring it all out on a tray. Here you get the shared giant pot, with a split in the middle for two different broths. I like to split whatever I order into one spicy and one less spicy broth so you can try how the items taste in each. I would avoid the super spicy, unless you're built for it. I wasn't able to really take full heat. The variety of meats and sides are great. I especially enjoy the skewers they have. The highlights being the lamb and chicken gizzard. I will say the chicken wings were burned and a little bland this time around, but that's not the norm from what I've seen in the past.Dessert is limited to those small containers of ice cream, but after the hot broth and food, I think it really does the trick. The area is very spacious, so you can definitely get a good sized group in here. I think we've had a table of 13 one time, and didn't need to worry about elbows being pinned at the sides.

My favorite hotpot in the twin cities. Skewers are included in the all you can eat which are great also. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The restaurant is a bit older but worth it for the amazing hotpot+skewers. No robots to contend with either.

Finally got the chance to try Hot Pot, it was an interesting experience. It reminds me of fondue but instead of cheese it's broth. I enjoyed the fact that there was not a lot of background noise and it made it easier to hear others on the table which is important when you are sharing this type of meal/experience. The servers were prompt to answer questions.

This place is fantastic! Get a group together to do the hot pot. It's so much fun! One end of our huge group paid per item and the other end did the all you can eat. Both were fantastic value and worked out really well. I think those of us that paid per item were at around $30 and the all you can eaters were at the value price of $35. Excellent deal for all of the variety of stuff we got! I enjoyed the spicy broth with fish balls, Japanese pumpkin, tarot root, and bok choy the most. Both broths were delicious especially on the below freezing night we went. Loved the sauce bar so you could add garlic, sesame, or spicy flavors to your selections. Plus the free ice cream cup at the end was a great way to cool off!Even more impressive were the individual meals people ordered off the menu. The sesame tofu was perfection! Everything else looked amazing too! Plus I really enjoyed the papaya smoothie. So good! Our group of 18 had an amazing time and will definitely be back.

My first time trying hot pot here and I enjoyed it. It's a good alternative to my regular hotpot place if I didn't want to drive to MPLS. The service was quick, attentive and very nice. We were sat immediately on Friday night, as dinner progressed the restaurant eventually filled up but there wasn't a wait. I ordered the Tom Yum soup base, they have the $5 and the $10 options. $5 option is more than plenty for two people. For sides we had sirloin beef, chicken meatballs, pork belly, udon noodles and Japanese pumpkin. I highly recommend ordering the pork belly, you can't really go wrong with pork belly in hotpot. If you have tried Japanese pumpkin take this occasion and try it, the flavor is sweet, buttery, savory- comparable to a sweet potato sans the texture. As for the Tom yum broth- it was okay, I wouldn't recommend it, Tom Yum usually has a distinct taste of sour, fragrant and a bit spicy- on this occasion I didorder mike per preference of my guest- BUT, the soup definitely lacked the usual Tom Yum taste. I would be back to try the other soups. **Tip** There is a sauce station along the wall: mix it all together- and add extra cilantro. I love cilantro.Cup of ice cream is included with your meal, vanilla, chocolate and strawberry. Help yourself from the freezer.

Staff were friendly when we got there. Good vibes! It was our first time so we weren't so sure how it works for all you can eat but they were kind enough to explain. I just wish the Spicy soup had a little more kick but it's okay. Overall very good options and portions of food they have. If you go in big group, they will automatically charge you gratuity. They do have signs saying they will charge you for each sauce bowl you have so just be aware.

I'm giving this place a 5 star, due to the fact that it hasn't changed much, other than the price. Price is reasonable due to all the inflations. They have good selections and they are right in the university area! So, there's no need to travel far for me, lol. Everything is the same as any other hot pot joints. You pick your broth or pick two. Then you pick your meat and veggies you want. They also have a grilled selection, which is nice. I'd say try the grilled gizzards! You also gotta go make your own dipping sauce. Make it to your liking. Spicy or no spice. Sweet or salty. Service there is good. Also, they have a call button if you ever need something and they're not around. Make sure to get half orders so you don't waste much food. Full orders are pretty large. I'd say do a half order and if you like it. Then next round, go for a full! The ambiance in there is casual. It's not loud or anything. Nice warm setting. It can get pretty busy at times. Hell, just go try them out already and quit reading my review! Lol

Food ordered: - $29.99 AYCEMy friends and I came here to warm ourselves up. We did the AYCE with two mixed hot pot flavors (spicy and herbal). They let you order like 3-5 dishes at a time (so people don't end up wasting food). It had a good assortment of vegetables and some decent meat and seafood options. I mainly got beef slices, pork, enoki mushrooms, boy choy, udon and ramen noodles, quail eggs, shrimp and a wide assortment of other items. Although this is a hot pot place, it also included skewers which were very authentic Chinese skewers in my opinion. Small skewers of beef, pork, chicken, lamb, etc nicely fire cooked and coated with spices and seasoning. Service is a little slow but honestly if you go to a fair share of authentic asian restaurants, this does not surprise you. Quality isn't the best but also not too bad.Overall, good hot pot place definitely worth checking out at least once.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would!!!! Everything was great! Super cute inside, fast and very helpful & friendly staff! This was our first time in and we didn't know what to expect. My husband was very uncertain, however they walked us through it all, and we finally decided on a few things. Wholly-molly was everything brought out so quickly!! We stated the adventure: mixing sauces to our liking, added veggies, meat & dumplings...Also got a couple skewers, which I would highly recommend!!!Do let it simmer a bit so as to cook everything.BUT WOW!!! How fun & delicious! And to top it off you get a little ice cream to finish It all out. It is a must go! So very very good!!!!
