Lindstrom Antique Mall

On a recent road trip up north, stopped in here with a friend on our way to Wisconsin. What a fun store. So much to look at from smalls to larger items. Well- appointed booths. Some fun finds. Store was clean and booths well organized. Staff is very friendly. (There is a downstairs also.) Neither of us left empty handed. Cute little town to check out.

Generally antique shops look pretty much alike. Stocked full of memorabilia, some of which is not that old. This store is better organized than some others and is loaded with glassware and various pieces which I like to collect. I'm happy just picking up a road map of Minnesota or Wisconsin made in the days before freeways. Follow the wiggly line of Hwy 12 from St. Paul to Madison, it must have took six hours to make the trip in 1950.This place is friendly and will ask if you need help. Look carefully there are some hidden corners and a basement department to.

I've been in here once, lots of nice finds. But, a bit expensive. I'm pretty sure most people could sit in there for days on end looking at every single object in that store. Some things are a little more expensive than they need to be. On a funnier note, When I first walked in I thought the floors were made to be squeaky to seem like the store is really old. Only to figure out after going downstairs it WAS an old place and I didn't want to be downstairs any longer. Ha-ha. But, seriously a cute shop. The ladies were real nice and they left out some cookies and coffee.

My wife and I were motorcycling thru Lindstrom and saw the antique sign. Just had to stop in, and take a look. 6 items later, (a dresser/desk/saw/lamp/saw, and other miscellaneous pieces), we were on our way. Had to come back with a truck to haul all the treasures home, (obviously couldn';t do it on a motorcycle). Friendly/helpful staff. The best laid out (not cluttered/trashy looking), like a lot of other antique stores we've frequented. Highly recommend going there and checking it out. I wish we had more ROOM for stuff. Would've purchased more!

Friendly, funny, and helpful staff. Prices seemed quite fair for the area, especially on furniture items. Lots of variety. Had a fun couple hours searching for treasures!
