Lat14 Asian Eatery

Always a great time at Lat14. Arrived about 4:30 on Friday without a reservation and was seated right away. All the servers I've had here have always been so attentive and kind. My FIL and I loved our cocktails, but my MIL thought the Rum the Jewelz cocktail was too strong and had to ask for pineapple juice on the side in order to finish it. I thought it had great flavor, but agreed it was strong for sure. Always have to get their Thai basil wings. It's a must! We loved all of our entrees. I liked the shrimp and mushrooms, but not sure I'd order it again. First time having Nam Khao and throughly enjoyed it and would order it again.Thai tea is one of my favorites so to have it in the form of creme brûlée was such a treat! The restaurant is so beautiful it's as if you are in someone's very well decorated home.

Ladies lunch-- as always the lumpia and Thai basil wings are the best for any table to share. I tried the adobo chicken fried rice and was very pleased. The Yuzu lemonade was deliciously refreshing. Service was groovy!

Came here for lunch on a random weekday. Lunch is served Monday-Friday, 11am-2pm.We all Ordered their Lunch Platters. Each Platter included some Fruit, Cream Cheese Wonton and Asian Slaw (see pictures). I appreciated the variety that was included for lunch but would have preferred a little larger portion of our main entrees. We ordered:- Chicken Pad Thai- Chicken Adobo - Fried Garlic Green BeansThe restaurant had a very calm & relaxing vibe with trendy interior. The server was prompt and knowledgeable with any questions we had. The food was good but not amazing. We felt that it was a little spendy for the small portion sizes (hence the 4 star review) but this was during lunch, so maybe dinner would be better?

I've been to Lat 14 Asian Eatery about half a dozen times and have always loved it--until this week. Everything felt different. The restaurant wasn't as busy as usual, and while the staff was polite, they didn't seem excited to be there.I also couldn't help but wonder if they sent all their top cooks to their more upscale restaurant, Khâluna. My absolute favorite, the basil wings, lacked the deep flavors I've come to expect and seemed like a significantly smaller portion with hardly any basil. The drunken noodles were unbelievably salty, and the fried rice was bland.Maybe they were having an off day, but if I wanted disappointing Asian food, I would go to to Leeann Chin (which will never happen). I'm hoping this was just a one-time thing because I've always enjoyed dining here.

Do not miss their wings. Although you cannot go wrong here. Incredible drinks! Service was lovely and the ambiance was incredible for a girls lunch on a Sunday. Cannot wait to come back!

There are very few places that have duck and the fact that the duck here was really good gives it five stars from me alone. The service was prompt, the drinks were delicious, and it was a cozy place to sit down to have dinner with friends.

Love coming here to eat. Seriously, GETTHEBASILWINGS. We did get the Drunken Noodles and it was a bit on the smokey/bitter(burnt) side of flavor but I was still able to eat through it. Really appreciate the increase of Filipino dishes on the menu over the years. The staff is always friendly. Cant wait to come back here!

Went for a work lunch and it was delicious! They now are open for lunch - previously only open for dinner. It's cutely decorated and modern inside. The staff was friendly and the service was great. I got the Chicken Adobo from the lunch menu and it was yummy! The chicken itself was very rich in flavor and was super tender that the meat easily pulled off the bone. Not pictured, we also got the lumpia (delicious and hot, temperature-wise) and the Basil Wings which are to die for - flavorful, spiced, and limey! This is my second time eating here and I will say that the first time I visited, I got the Braised Duck Ramen and I wasn't a fan of it since it was so rich/oily/fatty and didn't have a lot of other flavor besides being fatty from the duck. So this time around, I had a better experience.

Been three times and each was an overall good experience.A few things to note the NA VirGIN and Tonic and the NA Baby Tiger were delicious. These non-alcoholic mocktails are more than just a bunch of juices mixed with sparkling water, they're crafted and balanced to create a dynamic flavor. The space has lots of seating, including patio options. However, I'd recommend making a reservation, especially on a weekend.One last thing, if you're a fan of the tempura peppers and basil that garnishes wings... you can order a small order of it. Yum!

Came in for brunch and was blown away! The food is amazing, everything was 10/10. I'm still thinking about those dry rub wings! The eggroll, drunken noodles, panekoeken, and fried rice were all fabulous. I wish we came with more people so we could have tried everything on the menu. The restaurant is in a remodeled Perkins which is very nostalgic but has a nice modern vibe. Service was great, food came out as it was ready and people checked in frequently. They also have a parking lot.. does it get any better?For now this place is one of the best kept secrets for brunch in the area but soon people will find out how amazing it is... come before the crowds do!
