Last Turn Saloon

Came here not for drinks, but for food, and we were VERY pleased. Food was absolutely AMAZING. Now one, if not our most, favorite restaurant to eat at. Boyfriend said wings were perfect in every way he can think of, and he's very picky with his wings. Our fries were cooked perfect, burger was amazing as well, even when we ordered it plain. My toasted dip sandwich was amazing, toasted perfect and the bread was just sweet enough to contrast the Swiss cheese and dip sauce perfectly. Portions are a great size, had just enough to take home. Just all around amazing. Waitress/bartender was nice and straight to the point as we like it. Price was also pretty decent. And the atmosphere is pretty cool, definitely that typical saloon feel with some modern bar design as well. Very pleased and highly recommend for food!

Solid food. Their sandwiches and fries are always great! They always serve with a smile and it's a fun location. Great place to support local business!

Nice alternative in the Brainerd-area to all the usual chain restaurants...Once you walk in through the front doors, you go down a set of stairs to the establishment. There you'll find plenty of tables, a bunch of booths that look down upon the tables, and an old-style saloon bar. Lunch menu had plenty of different sandwiches, and a few salads. Beer on tap, and I'm assuming a full bar. The sandwich I had was great -- a Last Turn Grilled Turkey Pepper Melt (subtract the peppers). It was delicious... pepper jack cheese, plenty of turkey, and some bacon. I substituted the marbled rye bread for grilled 12 grain. Service was friendly, fast, and efficient.Oh and they serve you popcorn when you sit down. It was really good popcorn too! :)

My dad and I stopped here on our way through Brainerd. He remembers going in his younger days too, so it's nostalgic for him.I think the menu said that all the woodwork was handmade by Minnesotans and that the buffet behind the bar is from the Pillsbury mansion. There are definitely lots of cool things to look at!I had the chili, which was rice with beans and others things on top. Not your regular chili, but I really enjoyed it. Hopefully I can come back some day and eat some more!

The Last Turn Saloon is a nice atmosphere to hang out and have a drink. We have been back a number of times and always enjoy the ability to hang out in the booths looking out over the bar area. The food is okay - but not great. It is a great alternative to other chain restaurants in the area.We like this place for the atmosphere and will be back.

Good place to go in downtown Brainerd. From the street entrance you walk down stairs to a quaint saloon and grill. Brainerds version of Cheers. Four of us sat at a booth on a early Saturday evening for dinner. The special that night was chicken alfredo that came with two pieces of garlic bread and was very good and a healthy portion. The others ordered sandwiches and the ladies were happy they could order 1/2 sandwiches off the menu. The onion ring appetizers were underwhelming and we wouldn't bother with them again. Wait staff was very attentive and friendly, plenty of refill opportunities.

Stopped here on the way to brainerd for a quick bite to eat. Ordered cheese curds and quesadilla. Our food came out cold. Very disappointed. Nice bar but the food wasn't anything special.

Drinks and atmosphere good. Wait for a simple burger was almost an hour! The burger tasted like it was boiled in water, the bun shelf store bought. French fries were generous portion and good. I'll go back to drink but probably not eat

Atmosphere and service was good, but we got the nachos and chicken fingers, and were both disappointed.

I hate to even give it a one! Took forever for the waitress to come and take our order. She kept stopping at another table to talk with, what we assume, were her friends.Finally got our food and we were extremely disappointed. My husband's rib-eye sandwich wasn't even rib-eye steak, some other cut of fatty, very tasteless meat. I ordered the tortellini and the noodles were so overcooked they were mush! The Alfredo sauce tasted like it came from a jar. They even raised the menu prices since they added the restaurant next door and it wasn't worth it. So disappointed. The food and service used to be so good. We'll never go there again.
