La Poblana

My first time at La Poblana since they moved to this location -The place is really comfortable and clean - and the service was attentive and wonderful.Simple, authentic, and delicious food - we were delighted with our meals! Portions were ample, the food was fresh and delicious, and we'll definitely return!These folks truly love what they do, and it truly shows in every dish!10/10 - will be back often!

As a Texan, with a lot of Mexican family, I can safely say this is the best Mexican food in Rochester. The chips are perfect and salsa spicy and flavorful. I get the veggie taco plate usually. We also love the enchiladas. The people who work there are very nice. Lovely ambiance.

Fantastic flavors and good prices. Our server was quick and had a great personality. The food was served quickly, and seasoned to perfection. I liked the colorful and interesting wall hangings. Having futbol on the big screen was great as well. Can't wait to get back here.

Hidden gem! Delicious, authentic Mexican food! My husband and I from out of town and here for the week, we have already gone back for seconds! The atmosphere is not fancy and you may be a bit skeptical walking in, but trust me, you will not regret eating there. The food is fresh and flavorful! Excellent chips, salsa and guacamole! I don't think you can go wrong with any of the main dishes, everything we have tried has been fantastic! I wish we had a place like this in our hometown! Additionally, the service was fast and super friendly! No complaints! We will be back next time we are in Rochester! Highly recommend!

The food was great, the price reasonable and service excellent. All in all when in Rochester this place is a must visit.

Overall, very pleased. It is hard to phantom a restaurant with a drive thru pick up but it works. Small spot. The cook prepares the meals almost in sight of all, especially if you sit at the barWe had the enchiladas Rosa's. With meat. A area for improvement is the meet was a tad over cooked and needed more flavoring but the dish was nice. The chips and salsa were fresh, crunchy and the salsa with a good flavor. I can always use more spice kick but I am sure it was perfect for mn pallet. We also have a quesadilla. He made a fresh homemade tortillas. The tortilla was solid but the toppings for the tortilla were so so. It was prettty good over all. Just a bit pricey for Rochester Mn. I would go back again.

I have eaten at Mexican restaurants from California to Ohio. I ordered the bistec. It was not "steak" as you would think as most restaurants call steak. It was very dry, greasy, over cooked (like jerky), Blah! It was $24 which I don't mind if it's NOT dog food! Seemed it was pre-cooked earlier in the day. The rice was from the day before and the refried beans were dry. Definitely not close to 5-stars, or 2.This was the worst Mexican food I ever had eaten. I am ashamed that they even served that trash to my family. I came to eat, not for the music or the ambiance. If you won't eat it, don't serve it. If you want fresh Mexican food in Rochester, I recommend Los Jarritos.La comida is sabrosa!

If you come to Rochester and don't eat at La Pablana you are missing a real treat. Authentic Mexican food and everything is homemade! Make sure you ask for the green hot sauce the flavor is great! Ever nice owners !
