FOOD: This store has a plethora of food choices! They also have food stations with different types of food. If you can't find something to eat here, it's you, not the store. If you want to grab a favorite Starbucks drink, it's inside the store.There is a door directly to Starbucks if you don't want to go through the stores main entryway.Ambiance: BIG, organized gorgeous store. Gifts: They have an area with great items to gift yourself or others. Tips: This store reminds me of a whole foods store, maybe even better, and pricier than traditional stores, but it's definitely worth getting at least some items here. I'm visiting from San Diego, so my opinion is from a visitor

Our go to at least 3x per week. A wonderful shopping experience. Best produce, seafood, prepared food. The bakery is yummy & their private label products are on point. They carry local brands and support small businesses as well as many non profits in the community. Friendly staff, support employment of people with disabilities We get some dry goods at Target but otherwise Kowalski's all the way

The best things about Woodbury Kowalski's are their quality of items, the unique local items they offer, and that Pezzo Pizzeria is there. The prices, in general, are pretty expensive, so I would recommend going here for specialty items, but buying more common items elsewhere if you care about saving money, especially the same brands that you can find at other stores.

Stopped for a Starbucks and was very impressed with this supermarket! The isles were so neat and organized and had a variety of different food and drinks that are not found in general grocery stores. Great variety of cheeses and breads!!

Amazing grocery store! This is the perfect spot for lunch! So many hot items to choose from! A huge salad bar! They have a hibachi grill, pho / ramen bar, chicken wing bar, soups, and other hot entrees including salmon, fried chicken, and lots of side items to choose from! I roll with the salad bar and taco bar usually! The salad bar has a great red French dressing. They also offer a white french dressing too! The taco bar and salad bar is 9.99 a lb. Definitely coming back here when I'm in the area!

Reunited and it feels so good----Kowalski's is my favorite grocery store to shop at---and since moving across the river I just did not get a chance to skip-a-doodle over to St. Paul that much---I was so happy to discover that there is one in Woodbury and close enough to do my shopping at----I gleefully entered the store and got one of my preferred little two tiered carts. I also enjoyed that there were not a ton of brats running around in big ass plastic car carts. Kids ruin my grocery store experience because they are always zigging when I want to zag.There was a vast array of samples and unfortunately for my wallet I ended up buying pretty much everything I sampled. Hahahahahaha that is a damn good marketing tactic. The old lady doing the Bacon demo needed to put a sock in it though---she never came up for air and was a bit pretentious. I did buy the bacon because even though she got on my nerves I enjoyed it. There is so much inside this fabulous store---flowers, gifts, cards, wine, Aveeda products, Cooks of crocus hill , fancy olive oils and seasonings, and cheeses---the wonderful cheeses----I specifically would shop here just for cheese.I got quality ingredients and seriously I don't feel like I did too bad on my budget. I indulged in some gourmet items that I cannot get at other grocers. Potter crackers, fresh Alaskan wild caught coho salmon, Waygu beef, velvet honey butter, northern lights Bleu cheese.I picked up a few recipe cards and enjoyed the friendly check out boys --one who took my groceries to my car for me. I tried using gift cards in the store, not versed in gift cards. Staff person Jan Wilcox helped me pay with the gift cards, packed my goods and off I went. Patient, friendly, concerned, and professional, exceptional service with a huge smile. I'll be back for sure, thanks Mr. Jan

Best bakery around. Many of the groceries are grossly overpriced from other grocers in the area for standard groceries. Great for speciality items, unique gifts, bakery, deli, and cheeses. I wouldn't do all of my grocery shopping there though because I'd be broke!
