If you are looking for an old school vibe hangout then Knight cap is the place for you. It's a small neighborhood bar that's cash only. One of the nice things here is that the the ATM fee is close to the cost of a draft pour. The bar was recently renovated and the ceiling was lifted making it a lot easier to move around. Bathrooms are still tight and feels like you are being squeezed.

Great dive bar! Was recommended by a friend and I felt at home with it! Coming from a small rural town it felt very familiar!

This was stop #2 on the pub crawl up 4th street. Right across the street from Mayslack's, so the convenience was undeniable.The metaphoric record scratched when we walked in here, which I really like and adds to the dive bar ambiance. Stronger than the stares, was the pungent aroma of some kind of cleaner. Like, I felt like I was placed INSIDE of a urinal cake. They had a surprisingly great selection of beers on tap, and I had some kind of IPA I can't remember! The beer was good, the service was good.I didn't have any food (after Mayslack's pile o' beef)Overall, it was just very average to me. I get it if this is your spot and you've been coming here for 10 years, but I came in once and once is enough with so many options in the area. If you haven't been try it out for yourself!

Always fun. We came in today at the end of the meat raffle. No meat, but we won $220 in tabs. Great service and good prices.

This is stop 2 on our annual Nordeast Walking Tour. Raffles for meat and drinks rule the roost on Saturday afternoons. It was recently renovated and includes a really nice back patio/smoking area. The staff is rowdy and fun. Someday I'll spend an afternoon here (v. just a stop on the tour).

I had to call the police in order to get my real ID back since the bouncer insisted it was fake and held onto it, very rude as well. I am 23 years old. He then kicked the rest of the group of 10+ of us out. Very strange experience. I guess I should've brought my birth certificate or passport lol.

Could have been cool bar, thought the vibe had potential, but the bartender poured weak drinks and the bouncer realllly sucked unfortunately, just kind of weird all around to be honest. Won't be back myself, but don't let that scare you off too much, the decor was honestly great, just really hated the people running it tonight! Giving it a two star, but if you're in the neighborhood, it's not the worst place I just a suggest you do one of the other bars within a block if they're open.
