Kiddie Academy of Edina

Overall, I haven't really had any complaints with Kiddie Academy. The teachers have always been extremely wonderful and helpful. They take great care of the kids.But lately, it just seems like management has taken a step back. Whenever you call or email, no one would answer or I'd never get a response. When I finally did get a response to an email it was weeks (sometimes months) after and the response was cold and a little off-putting. As if they were annoyed that a parent would have a question about their child.It doesn't seem like there is clear communication between management and their staff as well as a lack of communication between management and parents. They seem to be short staffed and the current teachers are over worked to where they can't maintain the proper kid to teacher ratio. This ultimately affects the kids and hinders them from being moved up to the proper classrooms; which is very detrimental to their development. Because when a child becomes complacent and isn't being challenged enough, they get bored, act out and can regress.

My son has been attending this school for almost 2 months now. We love it! Everyone makes everything so easy. My son loves seeing his friends and yells out "my school" in the car as we drive up. The teachers genuinely care and are amazing communicators. They are up to date with online billing, online viewing, emailed daily reports, huge inside play area, locked entrance, and healthy food. Everything you need in one place. Owners Erin and Robert are so friendly and so involved and faces you'll see all the time which in my experience is not ever seen. We love it and so will you!

We love Kiddie Academy! We will be moving to another state and the saddest part for us was leaving our baby's daycare. The teachers are GREAT! (Especially Miss Paige!) The owners are onsite all of the time. You will often find them reading or playing with the kids. I don't give out 5 stars easily and I'm a helicopter mom. So when I say they are AWESOME, they are AWESOME!!!You can leave your child knowing they are well cared for. You can check on your little one anytime since they have cameras that stream to an app. It's so nice to be able to check in throughout the The staff there are amazing!! Already missing Miss Emily's smiling face in the morning. Update- Since moving away from our home state, we have missed two things:-Kiddie Academy-Our pediatrician I can't say enough good things about Kiddie Academy! Your kids will be well cared for....Trust me!

Terrible place that I would not recommend sending your kids too. Although on the surface they may seem like an okay place, behind closed doors there is so much wrong. Drama, condoms left in bathrooms, kids left outside, harassment, and short staffed. Not only do they not treat the kids the greatest but the way they treat each other is just as bad. There are too many childcare places available to take this chance.
