Junior's Restaurant & Tap House

Great staff, relaxing atmosphere and great beverage selections. Our Bartender was helpful and courteous. We stopped in for a spotted cow and cheese curds, beautiful Saturday afternoon at the Art Fair.

We arrived and in accordance to the sign, asked at the hostess station to sit inside (it was an 88 degree day) and were told no one was allowed for inside dining and to find a seat in the shade. It was hot, sunny, there were flies and bees--yet we could only sit outside.I selected this place because of it's supposed atmosphere, beer & drink menus, and food. Since we weren't given, told about or offered beer and drink menus (in addition to being forced to sit outside after we asked to sit inside), that meant atmosphere and menus were negatives.My Mom and niece ordered the chicken, bacon, ranch wraps with fries and thought they were good. I ordered the fish & chips and upgraded my side to cheesy chive hash browns. The lime-radish slaw was dry and bland, the fish was fishy so I doused it with all the juice from my lemon slices that I could, but the hash browns were yummy.Our waitress was okay, but the bartender was the real star, making drinks, running inside to get our meals and deliver them, plus deliver ranch and ketchup later.

Patio is super nice. Clean, large and relaxing. That is about it for this place. We had the bang bang shrimp.. shrimp was off and tasted odd and overly sweet. "Gourmet" mac and cheese was hardly gourmet. Overly cheesy, smokiness was over powering and broccoli was odd in the dish. They say "smoked" wings just so you know they are bought in smoked and then prepared. Nothing tasted fresh or different. If you want a cheap drink on the patio then come here. Otherwise I hope there is better in River Falls.

Great things about Juniors - Good gluten-free options including the batter they use for frying - Nice outdoor patio with music on the weekends- Music inside too- Open Mics on Wednesdays - I have liked everything I've had - Good selection of beer - Service is always fast and excellentThis place cares about quality and service and it shows. Did I mention that it's reasonably priced also?

One of my first dates with my boyfriend. The food was very good, appetizing and service was great.

Ordered online for pickup on a snowy Valentine's Day. My partner and I both selected the GOAT Burger to try for the first time. We picked up the order at the designated pick up time, drove about 4 minutes home, and found that the food was barely warm. Sadly, we paid for chipotle ranch and did not receive the side. The burger patty had no flavor. The fries were soggy and cold. Unsure if these issues are related to it being a busy day for the staff, but this made for a disappointing meal. As a staple in the River Falls area, I was expecting more from this establishment.

Come for the live music - exceptional and without cover charge. I am partial to Tim Hennessy's Trio but I've never been disappointed in the artists

Traveling for my kids hockey tournament. We ate here for multiple meals and they were all fantastic.My daughter wants to re-create their BLT at home!

Food is ok. A bit overpriced. 12.00 for a vodka soda seems a bit excessive to me.
