I've only eaten here once, but it was enough to know that this is one of the best Chinese restaurants I've been to. From appetizers to mains, I was in heaven. Great wontons, Szechuan dumplings, Xiang La wings (which is very similar to the Chong Qing main), everything was perfect. This is my favorite type of cuisine from China, and its spicy, so perhaps it's not for everyone, but I was as happy as I could possibly be and can't wait to return in the near future.Staff too were friendly and helpful in making recommendations for friends. The inside decor is chill and quiet, so there is nothing anywhere near I was wishing for more while visiting. Kudos to the chefs and staff. Fantastic experience!

Tried Jun with a larger group of friends on a Friday evening. We made a reservation online but definitely didn't need to as there were plenty of tables. Parking (as always in this area) was a bit tricky. Our server was such a sweetheart and made excellent recommendations. We ordered a bunch of dishes and shared family style. My favorites:- Spicy Ma Po Tofu -- the standout of the night. The sauce was so delicious! Though it wasn't super spicy, it definitely is one of the top ma po tofus I've had in the Twin Cities.- Shanghai Xiao Long Bao -- perfectly sized, delicious soup dumplings!Definitely will skip next time:- Pork BBQ buns -- the bun was way too dry and crumbly and the sauce on the pork was a little too sweet. - Crispy Sesame Beef -- this seemed a little overcooked. The beef was pretty chewy. - Cocktails -- the ones we had were a little too sweet

We had our annual Christmas dinner at Jun and enjoyed the food, and atmosphere. The service was slow and not very attentive, we are guessing the staff was ready to call it a night. Regardless, we appreciate JUN being open on Christmas Eve.

Great meal in a modern Asian location. I had a not so great meal at Jun years ago so wouldn't have gone back if a friend hadn't suggested it. Glad I did. The dishes had authentic flavors with freshly cooked ingredients and great textures.

Came in for dinner one night. The food was undercooked and didn't taste good. The service was great though.

The girl was really nice who greeted us and then she was also our waitress. She recommended the chong qing spicy chicken so we ordered it. It was fried which the menu didn't state. The onions were basically raw and made up the majority of the dish. The chicken was mostly breading and skin, little chicken to speak of. We had already had dinner and were still a little hungry so we tried this out. $30 out the door ($22+tax and tip and $1 parking) and it was definitely not worth it. The water was delicious though.

Quick review4/5 Xiang La Wings- yummy, savory, good spicy kick. I would order this again. 3/5 Sesame chicken- pretty similar to anywhere else you'd order this. Wouldn't order again.3/5 Pork belly and Pineapple fried rice- pineapple wasn't sweet, rice was not cooked all the way (a lot of crunch). They did remake the order. Pork belly is chopped up pink bbq pork, not my idea of pork belly. Would order again if craving fried rice, otherwise, I would pass.3.5/5 Szechuan dumplings- they were not bad, but there was one that I couldn't split with my fork... and then I couldn't bite through it while chewing lol. You get 6. I would order this again. Waiter is very helpful and straight to the point with menu questions. It's a nice intimate environment for good conversation.

Good solid Chinese restaurant.Service was good. But then it wasn't that busy.Food was okay. We were disappointed in the duck. We have had duck in China (lives there for 8 years) this was not even close.
