Jumpin' Jacks

This was the first time trying this place tonight about a 20 minute drive from our house. We've heard they've had great steaks and had to try it. I read one review that said the service was really bad. I had the porterhouse and my wife had the shrimp. They were both fantastic and the service was fantastic also. This will be a regular place for us to go now

I like this place. First time there on 9/22/17. Big place. They had a meat raffle going on, which I like.... and won. We ordered cheese curds, fried pickles, a chicken alfredo pizza and I had a chicken bacon ranch sandwich with fries. A lot of bacon on my sandwich, chicken was juicy. It was a tasty sandwich. Fries are the battered type. Done perfectly. Very good. The cheese curds were also good. Light batter and cooked just right. Not state fair curds, but pretty dam good. The fried pickles had a thick breading on them. The pickle to breading ratio was off. If they battered there own instead of getting them out of a bag, they would probably be awesome. The pizza was cheesy, garlicky and had a good amount of chicken. Was watching steaks coming out and man did they look good. Friday's have steak specials and it was clear that's what most people were there to get. I've give that a try next week. All in all, I like this place and will definitely be back.

Great bar! Awesome food and live music on Saturday's. Went there on new years eve. Had no problem finding a table (seat yourself) at 6pm. Stayed until 9 so we could hear a few songs from the band. The band was okay but the food was awesome. Had the burger with jalapeños. Not sure the name of it but it was fabulous. The bun was super soft and the burger was bigger than the bun! Friendly attentive waitresses too! Will definitely be back.

First off I will say good service under the circumstances hence the nice tip we left ya. Now the truth...brutal as it may sound but really, 3 ice cold flimsy tacos with not much more than your typical Ortega seasoning pilled high with far too much lettuce and a scant amount of cheese okay okay I get it but only 2 for that price. Now the bottle of root beer was $5.00, come on really? Then the plate of lettuce covering 13 yes we checked 13 taco chips and maybe 4 oz of again the Ortega meat concoction. 5 people each one beverage 2 were bar bloodys with a sliver of a wilted pickle and one med sized olive 5.50 each and one tap beer. Total for the disgusting meal $70. And some change. We waited 15 mins for a drink order, flagged someone to turn the lights and heat on as we were not playing bar Bango and were told to sit in the back where no one else was. Absolutely not returning ever. If you want to hand away your hard earned money go to the casino at least the food is good and priced right. It's actually too bad because the atmosphere has potential. Jumping Jacks is a fun bar! We discovered it last year while snowmobiling and stopped for a burger. The food and service was excellent!

The place to go in the middle of nowhere. Great burgers and specials unless you're looking for daytime happy hour. Love the burgers and weekend specials! Obnoxious hold'em a couple times a week. Open pool tables on Sunday.

We took our friends there for their ann. We got there at 6:00 to miss the loud band group coming. That did not matter because they jute box was so loud we could not enjoy our conversation with each other. The waitress had to yell to get our order. The food was not done as we asked it to be and my husbands food was cold. Bad experience since it was bragged up so much by some of our friends. Won't be eating dinner there anytime soon.

Food is great but plan on waiting an hour and a half to get it. They are perpetually understaffed for the size of the restaurant so wait staff can never keep up. The utensils are supposed to be in holders at each table but, with staff overwhelmed, do not get filled. Once our food finally came out we realized we were short three sets of silverwear and, by the time we got them, food was cold! Order two drinks the first time because your first will be empty and waiting for 10 minutes before you have a chance to order a second.

Three strikes and I'm done with this place. The food we ordered all came out ice cold! The prime rib sandwich seemed like it came straight from the fridge a a floppy piece of bread. Never had a good experience here and don't think I will ever be back.

The beer we got was extremely and I mean extremely flat, the Coors and then we did michelob and still flat! Other then that the place is very nice
