JS Supper Club

This is a large club with one huge room and long tables, made for banquet or other type of gathering. The bar area is impressive with finished coated wood, (it looks real), and a separate long meeting bar across from the ordering bar, if that makes sense. The beer case is clearly visible to easily pick your brew, (no craft beers from what I could see), but everything else that has a name. Although I didn't have a mixed drink, others tell me they make a mean drink.This visit was a prearranged buffet so no menus or entrees. The serve yourself dinner has a large salad bar with your M.D.'s favorite colorful selections they always tell you about. More breads, cheese and cold cuts to complete the choices. End with about twelve types of their own fresh baked cookies.

Great food and amazing service. Drinks were excellent as well. Definitely a must if you are in Ladysmith.

Great food and staff. Easy location and not really far from Ladysmith Wisconsin. I've seen the place grown over the years and it's a wonderful place to meet up with family and friends. Grab a drink and cocktail and it's one of three places in rusk county that still serves the 1919 root beer.Great place for hosting events and holds 200 people.

Wish I was posting a review based on the food, but I'm not. Drove an hour to come here this past Saturday because it's where my fiancé wanted to go for her Birthday. Called several times through the day to make a reservation, but straight to voicemail. Checked their Facebook/Google to make sure they weren't closed, but nothing indicated they would be closed. I assume maybe they're having phone issues, no problem. Get there, walk in, and a lady informs us they are closed for vacation. No sign on the door, no social media posts, nothing. How unbelievably inconsiderate. Will never be back and will gladly make sure others know about this. There's better supper clubs I'm willing to travel further for anyway.

we came in on a slow Thursday night, appeared to be plenary of staff. Food took abnormally long. cheese on the burger was dry on the corners, bun wasn't toasted, burger was undercooked and the whole thing was just squishy. microwaved potato. my kid's chicken fingers tasted like old fryer oil and fish. server took forever to run my card... I ended up asking the bar tender to run it. the table cloths and nice glass wear were just wasted on the gross food and slow service.

Let's start with the ambiance....there isn't any. the walls are half wood and half corrugated tin. there are about 26 tables in this large room. the floor is half worn out wood and half carpet. The room was very loud and not conducive to conversation. The waitress took our drink order quickly after we were seated. Next the waiting started. Our drinks did not come. we had to ask for them again after about 20 minutes. There was no water brought to our table or offered. The salad bar was dirty with spilled and dribbled food. patrons were using their hands to pick up the bread and the combination of a dirty salad bar and patrons touching the food with their hands turned me off. After the salad was eaten, we finally received our drinks. Next there was a 28 minute wait for our fish. The baked fish was ok, not a lot of flavor, the batter fried fish was not good. The batter, which is subject to taste, was not appetizing. It tasted oily, like the fryer oil was old. The French fries tasted the same. we were told by a local couple that it was subpar, however we wanted to try it and form our own opinion. Our opinion is to skip this "supper club" and choose somewhere else.

In town for biking/hiking and a little R&R. The inside looked newly remodeled. A good selection of beer to choose from and the staff was friendly. We had a party of 6 and was accommodated with no problem. There for a Friday night fish fry. The fish was nothing to write home about but the others that had something other than fish said the food was real good.
