I wasn't expecting much when we decided to stop by, but I was pleasantly surprised at how good this place is. They have great tap beers and all the glasses are chilled. Nice attention to details! The service is friendly and fast. There's a food menu (which I didn't try), but other diner's plates looked good. They have pull tabs and loads of TVs for your entertainment. And they have a large outdoor patio. It's next to highway 394 but at least you're outside.

Previously I have only dined outside but since the weather has recently taken a turn for the snowy/cold we dined inside. I will say, I didn't like the experience. Super outdated space with a faint smell of mold and cleaning product. For such a dive feel the prices are quite high. We were with our kids and their kids meal options ranged in the $7-9 range and that did NOT include a drink or anything other than an entree. Nothing really jumped out at me. I had the appetizer sliders and fries which was perfectly decent but nothing to get excited about.Let's just say I don't plan to come back until the patio is open. I will then consider whether it's worth a return trip or not.

The pot stickers were fantastic. That's where it ends. We had nats at the bar and the Philly French dip had zero flavor as well as the fries. The serious was good for having the entire bar alone. Won't be going back here for lunch

Back at JJs, the neighborhood dive! We came in for an easy Friday night dinner and made it just in time for the late night happy hour. We ordered a build your own pizza and the real winner- the loaded sweet potatoes. As always, they were slammed packed but service was still attentive. Will be back! This is a great neighborhood spot and pretty decent prices

Erika was a great server. The place was so busy but she was very attentive. It's obviously a popular local spot. It felt warm and comfortable. Everyone was really nice. My husband ordered the walleye sandwich and said it was the best he's had. Perfect size. Great texture and just the right amount of side complements. I had the pesto pizza. It had tomato and thin sliced onion with mozzarella cheese. Delicious! We'll be back.

We headed over later in the evening, so there was plenty of parking. Trivia had wrapped up, so good timing on seating. The server was friendly and the food came out fast. Great place to go to grab a quick bite.

Popular spots/dive bar right off 394 in Golden Valley, JJ's Clubhouse is a popular local haunt. With a broad food menu, events and ample tap list, there's truly something for everyone. Service is prompt, if albeit cold. Food is decidedly average and with smaller portion sizes it feels overpriced compared to comps in the area. Drinks are also fine, but again feel overpriced. Lots of parking behind and around the restaurant is also a definite plus.

I used to come to JJs in the 90s when I lived nearby. Lots of good memories here.I came in and sat at a high top near the bar. During Saturday lunchtime it's well lit in here and if you like team sports, there's no shortage of TVs. The aides are wide so easy to navigate at least at lunchtime. The bar definitely smells like a bar.The bartender waited on me and he was quick and followed up a few times to offer more iced tea. I had the walleye sandwich which was good. I like that they had the option for coleslaw, but then I would have felt guilty getting fries. It's a catch 22 thing. If you like a casual sports bar atmosphere with good service, this is the place to go.

In a sentence, go to Bunnies. The Friday/Saturday bartenders are lovely. The waitstaff is fine. I think my favorite visit was when a regular, a local business owner, was obviously over-served, running around the bar being very loud and obnoxious...shouting and bragging about doing cocaine off a woman's body. And this was at 1030pm.Bunnies food is way better and they'd never put up with this kind of behavior.
