I dunno what to say. It was cheap to get in, but it is a bit chaotic here. I have taken the kids here a couple of times, once for a birthday. On the plus side, it is pretty big, so you can spread out, but that is also a bit scary as there can be a lot of kids in the water and you really work to stay on top of your kids to make sure they are safe and/or playing nice with others. They have some big waterpark-type slides but those were closed for some reason. The staff were really nice and gave us advice as to the best times to come to beat the crowds, etc. There is also free parking, but it is somewhat limited, so best to plan your visit accordingly.

You don't have to spend a lot for a day of fun for the whole family. Lots of lifeguards carefully watching your kids. What I liked most is the attention to who's been waiting for a tube to go on the next slide and the tubes are given out fairly. Pool and water were clean. Locker room could use more lighting...too dark. Wish there were more employees so the food stand could operate. Bring your own snacks.

great time for the familyMe and my three kids had a fun afternoon in the pool. my two older sons loved the large slides and my youngest had so much fun running under the fountains. one thing though, was the large man who was body slamming young children, in fact this very obese man tried to pick ME up and put me into the pool. thankfully my two weeks of self defense class skills came in handy as I hit him where the sun don't shine and made sure he remember my five knuckle shuffle. After that the young life guards called the police on that ogre and sent him away to the pigpen. Other then that my family had a great time and hope to return again this summer and see all those attractive life guards, because you know mama need that sugar.

Jim Lupient is a fun and underrated water park in Northeast Minneapolis. They have a lot of activities for kids and adults alike: a splash area, lap lanes, an obstacle course, water slides, mini golf, and more!I came specifically for the lap lane swimming. The lanes are nice, though limited (just two). I didn't have a problem getting a lane, but your mileage may vary. I sometimes had to deal with kids randomly jumping into the lane or cutting across me - which wasn't the end of the world, but it did cause a few almost-crashes.The other thing that bugged me is that they close the pool for a 15-minute "safety break" every few hours. This cut into my workout, which was a bit frustrating. But if you can plan around these - or if you have the time to spare - then it's not a big deal.Overall the experience was nice and the price is reasonable ($5 for an adult), so I would come back. If the weather's nice and you're in the area, check it out yourself!

Am from out of town was looking for a nice pool where I could sit in the Sun, read, relax and cool off. Very nice, clean, well-staffed & a first for me-- HOT outdoor showers. At $6 for the day, a bargain!

The water park is the best pool ever because it has a ride. The orange slide is the is where you need a floaty, the red slide is normal. The yellow slide is dark. You can't eat in the pool, you cannot dive in the pool, you can swim in the pool. I forgot to mention there's lines; the light blue line is not deep, the black line is deep!
