Yelpers you are so right. I should have gone with an Indian place I tried before and enjoyed. My order was veggie samosa, lamb naan and rice pudding. To all: ehhhSamosa, those pillowy mountains of crisp pasty covering well spiced potato and peas. Usually large enough to split an order between two as an app. Nope this was 'Honey I Shrunk the Samosa!' So so so small. There couldn't have been more than a spoon of filing. Disappointing, mostly dough and boring. The lamb naan was really good. Soft, fresh and hot, it was filled with ground lamb, herbs and spices. I really enjoyed it and ate the whole thing. By. Myself. !!!Saag Paneer - it was okay. Not much paneer and the saag was slightly bland. It had a lot of potential but fell short in overall taste. For dessert - Firni. Described as custard with pistachios and almonds except there were none of either. What I got resembled more like a loose rice pudding. Don't go dangling almonds and pistachios in front of me and show up empty! This was the Where's Waldo of the nut world. Boo.Lastly, on every item in the special instructions, no joke, I wrote 'utensils and napkins please'. What did I get? Not a freaking plastic anything. Good thing I had a set in my backpack or I would have marched into the restaurant in my tee shirt and boxers and smacked them in the head! Hey I was ready for bed!Never again for me but you give it your own review!

The 6 people in our group all really enjoyed our food. I had Jewels Special Chicken...eating that with their garlic naan was absolutely delicious. As far as service goes, it wasn't warm and fuzzy but I got what I needed when I needed it.

Horrible! Terrible service! Incompetent Second time: Ordered food which was cancelled 5 mins before it was due to be delivered with the excuse it was out of stock (so why not say that 40mins before when ordering). Of course my credit card was still charged and had to file a dispute with Amex. First time: got completely the wrong order.

We stumbled upon this place and honestly we are so happy we did! We have decided this is our new favorite place. It doesn't look like much but the food was fantastic! We tried three different things--the Jewel's special chicken, shahi paneer, and the curry pakora. We also had three types of naan--garlic naan, cheese naan and peshwari naan. The flavors were absolutely amazing! And if you have never had peshwari naan, do yourself a favor and try it. It is a "fruit" naan that added a complimentary sweetness to our dishes. We all went with a 1 on the 5 rated spice scale and we all agreed we could have been a little more bold. We will definitely be back!!

Love this place! The food is wonderful, along with the staff! I believe this is a family owned restaurant, so the service isn't as fast as the local Apple bees, but the food is amazing! 5/5 stars

I've tried the Chicken Tika Masala here x4, and while it's not my favorite around, it's good. The Jewel Goat I found interesting, a bit tomato-y. The lamb Biryani is huge, but the lamb a tad gristley.Maybe I've only been here in the winter, because I associate this place with being cold, and a bit dank. The door is the most basic of single layer no relief, and the blustery breezes just come in uninvited. Or maybe my impression is because of the bathroom in the deep, dark basement. Regardless, I prefer take out here because I don't find the space inviting. It's just a rectangular room with not too much thought put into it.It's fine, I just wouldn't want to live there.

Does not look like much on the outside. Service was awful. Waiters were nice, but it was the place as a whole that was run horribly. I don't think waiters being nice could have compensated for that. It was suppose to be a buffet, but had to ask for the food off the buffet menu and then they would bring it out. Was never told that. So we just waited hoping that they would eventually put the food and when it never happened, we had to ask. Mind you, we were patient and waited 20 minutes. As others have stated, it is a dull place, from 2017 review, and now in 2022, it still is dull. We were the only customers, should have been a sign that something was wrong. We still choose to eat there. I know our mistake, but we like giving people chance. We even left a generous tip. What really did it for our family is that we got food poisoning. It just worth wasn't worth it. The place should be closed. Not sure why such a shoddy business is open.

Outstanding meal and the topper was the fruit naan!!!!! All our dishes were fantastic and my Shahi Paneer was delicious especially with the garlic naan using fresh garlic. Why this place isn't rated a 5 is beyond me. I will be back!!!!! Wish I could have scored higher to offset reviews made years ago. Give this place a try you will not be disappointed.
