Iron Ranger

What a fun place! Tiny but mighty for sure.. we sat out on the patio. Our server was amazing, the food.. SO GOOD! And the live music was on point. Love that the patio is dog friendly as well. I had the porketta sandwich which was so flavorful and moist. And my friends had the fish and chips, which I was a little jealous of and will be getting the next time I go!

Fun theme and good food. Parking is difficult. Wish this place had a food truck so I can get it without driving to a busy part of town.

This place has been such a fun addition to Grand Ave. Note that it is a small, dark bar. But have pasties and porketta on the menu, two things synonymous with the Iron Range. I always sit at the bar, just like the ambiance of it better.They also have lots of local beers on tap a d the bartenders are always fun.

Had the Chicken Avocado Sandwich and tots. Food was decent. Great iron range theme bar and restaurant. The server was wonderful, the place was quiet for a Saturday lunch, the atmosphere was amazing. Little hidden gem of a place.

This place is awesome! Came here for lunch on the way to a football game. While not a huge place, hubs and I were seated right away. The hostess and waitress we had were both super nice and attentive. Cool, relaxed ambiance with a nod to the MN iron range. Had the pumpkin spice old fashioned- not something I would normally order (Old Fashioned purist here!), but OMG it was awesome! And the food.... Wow! Decided to try something different than the usual burger type thing I'd go for. The porketta sandwich was like nothing I've had. AMAZING. The bread was warm, soft with an awesome crispy crust. And the meat was so tender and flavorful. The fries were delicious- crispy, not greasy, perfectly seasoned.These guys know what's up. Will definitely be back.

The food is amazing, our waitress has a memory for days and the Establishment is clean. We will be back for the Nachos!

Delicious ...my terrific fish & chips were served hot. Everything was delicious. (Hot is a thing with me, if it should be hot I want it hot. Not warmish)

This review is for the business's delivery service quality. On the Yelp page and on the website, Chow Now is listed as the delivery vendor. I ordered online and was given a delivery estimate of 45 minutes. The delivery time came and went, and I reached out to Chow Now when I was informed that they had already tried to contact the restaurant about the status of my order with no success. Half an hour after the expected delivery time, starving at this point, I called Chow Now back and they found out that the restaurant had cancelled my order without informing anyone. I am now trying to get a refund, but this is not guaranteed because for some reason, Chow Now has to confirm with the restaurant that they can approve the refund. A complete waste of everyone's time.Restaurants, please don't offer a delivery service if you can't be reliable and communicative.

I've been here twice now and both times service was slow. We waited over an hour for our food on a Tuesday night while other tables around us got food long before we did even though we arrived first. The food is decent depending on what you get, but could have been hotter this last time. I don't think I will be back unless it's just for happy hour on the patio.

Great local neighborhood bar and restaurant - grand avenue needs more places like the Ironranger. You will not be disappointed, good food, great service, and nice atmosphere. And the owner is a gem of a human - Tom Forti is one of the best - he makes an incredible old fashioned!
