We were in Blaine and looked for restaurants. Expectations: not high. Reality: incredible food. FOOD: Sooo good. I got the jerk chicken. It's not a persistent spice, but it's got spice. It's on the bone but is so tender it falls right off. And, it's sizzling! (See photos). The rice was also incredible. So flavorful and subtly sweet. The sauces were also well crafted and perfectly matched the food. Overall, composition, flavor, and a balance of the meal were top notch. Others ordered the Rasta Pasta and Chicken Curry which looked great and they confirmed.PARKING: easy, this is Blaine.SERVICE: it's not a fast meal but that's the style. The server was very friendly and helpful. I like the pace, but don't expect to get out of there in less than an hour. Probably anticipate 1:15 if you don't rush for the check.AMBIANCE: Surprisingly nice. I say surprisingly because as I approached in my car and saw the Home Depot, etc, I wasn't expecting to find this gem of a restaurant. Seating isn't the most comfortable but the place is clearly well designed and decorated and I'm a fan. Will definitely be back!!

Very quiet place, huge location, nice for larger parties if they have enough staff to accommodate. There was only one server during our visit. Service was a bit slow and food was slow to come out. The dishes I ordered was okay. The cabbage was just alright and Beef Patty was just blah, not enough meat. Wings were decent. Jerk Chicken was a little underwhelming as I expected more flavor and spice. Finally, the Oxtail had the most flavor, but barely had meat on it. The other issue was the nats, considering the cold temperatures I didn't not expect that at all! 5/10 for me..

The service here is great! They answered all of our questions about ingredients, flavors, and portion sizes. I played it safe with French Chicken and rice and beans plus a veggie Rasta pasta! It did not disappoint! Crunchy, juicy chicken w a tasty sauce. I also really enjoyed their mango sauce with a bit of heat on the tail end!The Rasta pasta was saucy with good flavor and broccoli, peppers, and onions. My friends had the goat curry which is delicious! And the oxtail also good, but not my first choice. The beef patty was good too! Loved the plantains for dessert that came with my meal. The restaurant itself was nice enough with lots of room to eat in! Most of the orders that night were to go so we had the space to ourselves! Definitely want to stop back again!

10/10 - it's been so long since I've experienced one of those "I stumbled upon a hidden gem" moments and this definitely is my new go to Jamaican spot. I've always seen ads on DoorDash for the BP location so I had no idea this existed in Blaine. The location is pretty hidden but luckily we made a random stop at the Home Depot (which we never go to) and there it was. No one was in the restaurant itself (it's Memorial Day today) but they have a $20 all you can eat buffet which you know I'm going to hit up soon. The gentleman behind the counter was super chill and nice - he gave us the last order of oxtails and the food came out super quick. We got the oxtails with peas and rice. It came with sautéed cabbage and bell peppers and a couple fried plantains. I ordered an extra side of plantains cause I didn't know they already came in the meal. The oxtails were super flavorful, savory, and tender. I love the sweetness of the cabbage with the peas and rice. Btw the peas in the peas and rice are actually beans for those who have never tried. We also got the Jamaican patty with coco bread. David used to live in New York and said everyone always stuffed a coco bread with a patty and he said this brought him back. The coco bread was crazy soft... like as soft as texas road house rolls without the butter slathered over it. I loved the Jamaican patty - it had a great crust and the minced beef had the right amount of heat. We didn't think they were tower isles cause these were more flavorful. Next time we come back we are going to try the curry Roti and maybe the red snapper! Everything looked good on the menu!

Wow! We went to a movie and wanted to eat nearby. We saw this place with its 10 5-star reviews and decided to try it. What a treat! They were welcoming and friendly. We asked what their specialties are (jerk chicken, oxtail, and goat). Since others had raved about it, I ordered the jerk chicken along with a favorite, plantains, and my husband ordered the Drunk-en Jerk Shrimp with jasmine rice.As we waited, a nearby table got their sizzling food and the aroma as it passed by was mouthwatering. When our food arrived, I could understand why they were getting all 5-star reviews. My husband's shrimp was bursting with flavor. My plantains were perfectly cooked and the jerked chicken was one of the best chicken dishes I've had. My husband is picky about chicken and this chicken was perfect. Juicy with complex flavors in the carmelized skin and tender meat and all wrapped in a flavorful kick of spice. So good! Our sons are visiting next week and I hope they choose this place as one of the places to go on their first visit to our new city. I want to try the oxtail, but it's going to be hard to choose anything except the jerk chicken and plantains. Maybe I can talk someone into splitting. Mmmm.

The food as far as takeout is hot and delicious I've never had an issue, however when I recently dinned in the buffet and the service was very, very poor. The women at the counter took forever and actually forgot about a friend of mines takeout order and had to be reminded. Also was told that the cooks weren't making anymore oxtails and the chicken that was out was not hot and dry. The Rasta pasta was just a bunch of wet noodles with peas and broccoli mixed in and I actually expected more it was bland. Overall I don't feel that the buffet was worth $40 and would suggest to just order takeout.

I can't say I've ever had 'authentic' Jamaican food before so I was excited to try this place out. The owners (I assume) were really friendly and answered all our questions. I went with the goat curry (my first time having goat, that I can recall) and it was really good! There was a lot of meat, veggies and some tasty dumplings. I love fried plantains so I ordered a side not knowing a couple came with the meal. Beef patty was tasty, jerk dry rubs wings were good but I expected them to be spicier? Most people were ordering to go - I think maybe because the FB or website said "take out only". The restaurant is quite large and I think they have/are planning on having live music which would be really great for the area. Please stop in - I'd love to see them be successful in this location!

The food...holy whoa. So so good. The goat curry stole the show, the veggie callaloo was amazing and the fish curry was melt in your mouth. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful, space was open and accommodating. It looks like the establishment likely has music nights and also does a lunch buffet. This is a trek for me but I'm going back -for sure.

The food that I got was beyond amazing I got me a jerk, chicken platter and a curry chicken platter and let me say you will not regret your money on it. You will definitely get pretty full. The nice lady who took my order was nothing but very respectful.
