Loved the outdoor bar at sunset on a perfect Fall Night. Hockey parent happy hour before a game at the Super Rink. Highly recommend the make your own flight of beers on tap. Generous pours for a fabulous price.

I went here with my colleagues for our manager's farewell party. We were unable to RSVP a room a week earlier, but we were able to obtain 3 tables. It was packed on a Friday evening. It was seated yourself. Invictus shares the space with Tipsy Steer, which I'm familiar with their menu from the Roseville location - the same menu. The atmosphere is casual and loud (as mentioned, it was fully packed). Their parking lot was full too, but lots of space was available after 8 pm. Good place to hang out. I would give this place another chance to check it out with my husband and our small group of friends and not a party of 20 people!!!4 out of 5 stars due to how crowded it was. Some of my co-workers were standing between the 3 tables due to seating availability since it was packed and we had almost 20 people in our group all at once.

I am updating my previous review of Invictus. I've been going here off and on since they opened several years ago since they are my neighborhood brewery. I will now say they do not ever go out of the box to create new beers and many times their flagships are not good. The best brewery we have ever had in Blaine has sadly left the area. Which was Hammerheart. They constantly pushed the envelope as far as being unique. Invictus caters to the sports crowd that really don't know quality brews. So.. if that works for Invictus I get it.. they want to stay safe. I love craft beer and especially brewers that love their craft. Invictus is in it for the money.

I've gone to Invictus multiple times and this will be my second review because it is so good! It's seat yourself and every time I've gone I've been able to find a spot right away. This time, I tried the pickle pizza and birthday cake malt and they were absolute delicious! The service was also great. We got our drinks right away and our food was very quick to come out. 10/10 would recommend! I've never had a bad experience.

I am a huge beer fan, and this place doesn't do it for me. In today's age of exciting craft beers, the beer here is pretty bland and generic. The bar is spacious and the bartender was very friendly, however. The only saving grace is the Tipsy Steer that also resides here. I'm guessing that these are two separate companies that work together at this brewery. The service was pretty poor, thomost of the servers act like they don't want to be here. Our food was just plopped on the table with no comment, no smiles, no nothing. There is no "Minnesota Nice" here.

We came here with younger family members who really enjoy breweries. You can order with a QR code from your table or at the bar. They will bring it to your table. We ordered several flights and a single beer. Favorites this time were hard apple cider and hard root beer. We got a can of each of these to go. The seating area is open with picnic tables. You can order food from a restaurant at the same location.

A great first time visit - 4 stars!I arrived to try food at The Tipsy Steer and I was surprised to see they share the same giant building with Invictus. Great, a two-for-one!Invictus is a huge facility with tons of interesting beer varieties. I asked the bartender to pick 4 completely different beers for my flight - bartender's choice. All 4 were completely different, as promised. She even lined them up from light to dark. All 4 were great, not a single clunker in the bunch. These folks also have a cooler with beer-to-go and a small area with Invictus merchandise. By far the coolest thing is the fact that they share a space with The Tipsy Steer. They offer excellent food to enjoy along with your beer. They're definitely a step up from the usual food scene. (I'll address the details in a separate review.Thumbs up!-Maxx

Local brewery. Amazing location, good people, great beer with awesome sunsets over the "hills of Blaine" (ask proprietor, Previn, to tell you the story behind this inside joke). Went to their soft opening last night. Beer, food samples, and a band that played all sorts of songs ending with crown favorite Sweet Carolina. We sampled two of their three beers that they launched with and some pizzas with co-located Tipsy Steers. The beers were pretty good, inside ambiance looks amazing. Tall soaring ceilings makes the space look large up-cycled barn wood decor + steel makes it feel warm yet chic. I predict this to be a place for the Blaine community that is fast growing as well as people from all over the state and world that come to National Sports Center. This review was in my drafts for 3+ years. Better late than never! The place continues to be local favorite, Tipsy Steer (sister restaurant in the brewery) has good food. They both survived the pandemic...yea! Their beers have evolved even further and have made me personally like beer and diversify beyond wine and cocktails.

Nestled in Blaine, MN is a large taproom containing Invictus and Tipsy Steer. The name comes from its Latin translation for "unconquerable" and is a poem written in 1875 by William Ernest Henley. Beyond being a powerful poem, it is fitting for the delays and challenges the brewery faced, and were able to overcome. Come enjoy the food, the space, and the beer!Gimme That Razz:A Raspberry Sour that tastes like fresh raspberries. It is a glowing red color that shines in the light with refreshing sweetness and tartness.Horror of the Shade 2021:A big and bold Russian Imperial Stout. Huge notes of dark roasted malts with minor players of chocolate and coffee. No astringency from the roasted character, and is very smooth. Hop Throttle:An Imperial IPA brewed with Granite City Brewing and hopped with Sultana / Vic Secret. I've been seeing Sultana used more recently and really enjoying its flavor profile. This IPA expresses sweet pineapple and citrus with enough malt to remind you it's an Imperial IPA. Apple Shine - Guava:This Apple Ale with Guava was freshly tapped the day I visited. It was made with McIntosh apples from Michigan and all the ingredients are gluten free. The guava lends a hint of sweetness providing balance to the acidity and tartness of the base apple ale.

I stop in on Friday's @ 11a open, before the rush! The beer is always delicious, staff are friendly and ambiance comfortable! I always have the same beertender, Ally, and she is just lovely!! I've been in once on a Sunday morning: the place quickly FILLED up!! As I visually inventoried, I was one of only about three tables that didn't have food, just beer!! Beware: apparently this is where Blaine brunches!! The tap room is plenty spread out. There is a patio ...I will drink on this summer. If you're unsure which beer to try; I appreciate that the tap list is broke down by style and the beertenders have always been helpful when I ask about a beer. Thanks Invictus for consistently stellar service of delicious beer, poured by friendly and knowledgeable staff in a comfortable and inviting tap room. Cheers
