After a long week, I was absolutely stoked to receive an invitation to dinner with my favorite host. Even better? We're going to my favorite Indian spot in the state. We started off with the vegetable platter, which features three delicious vegetarian appetizers. In addition to vegetable pakoras and samosas, there was bhajita, spinach and onion stuffed potato wedges. These came with delicious little cups of chutney--one mint and one tamarind. This appetizer was a hit, even for the most devoted carnivore in the party. We also tried the pashwari naan--it's a sweet naan that is filled with coconut and golden raisins. My mom in particular loved it. It would be a wonderful foil for a spicy curry. For our mains, mom ordered the kebab, which came with dal (we picked the golden lentil dal, and I might possibly have had "just a taste" several times. (Verdict: it's yummy!) I ordered the paneer chili balti, a comforting balti that is sweet, savory, and salty with warming spices. The rice was also exactly right--fluffy, perfectly salted, and just the right texture. We also got the mango chutney, which is a tart, sweet, salty, savory, amazing flavor bomb. Try it at least once. For dessert, we shared the kulfee and ras malai. These aren't on the menu at every Indian restaurant, and since first having tried them (at India Palace, in fact), I know that they'll always be my first choice when I see them, especially the kulfee. Holy wow.As usual, the service was great--friendly, attentive, prompt, and helpful, the staff here makes sure you get what you need. Despite the fairly full house, it was easy to have a conversation. This is a relaxing place to enjoy a meal. The music is quiet, the decor interesting, and the seating comfortable. All in all, the cure for a bad week!

We ate at India Palace twice recently while on business in the area. The first was carryout and we thought it was very good. The second was a dine-in and was even better.I wanted to highlight the chili naan and the Balti dishes. We were only loosely familiar with Balti dishes and thought we should try it since they feature a full selection. This was outstanding. We selected Mushroom Balti with chicken. It has plenty of tomato-based gravy that is richly flavored with enough tartness to give it backbone and just enough sweetness to give it balance. They do a nice job with the chili naan by using plenty of fresh chile. We had a great meal.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. Since stumbling across this gem, we have become regulars. Their menu has a multitude of combinations and each one of them is absolutely delicious. I'm craving as I type! What I love about this menu is that it has options for everyone in the group. There are vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. Everyone that works there is so personable. Manjot & Amy are the best and at this point know our regular order by memory. I could list everything we've eaten and enjoyed, but this review would end up being pages long! Each dish has been delicious and I look forward to eating here and getting takeout regularly. If you was delicious Indian cuisine, this is the place to go!

As I have stated in previous reviews, I have sampled Indian food all over the word and this is by far my favorite place to eat. The menu has allot of variety and the staff is very helpful and patient when explaining the options that are available. The food is can be ordered at many spice levels. It is always amazing.

There is no world that exists where I don't give India Palace - Eden Prairie five stars. My family has been going there since I was a kid and the quality -- even through COVID -- has remained stellar. I ate there two days ago and am already craving their food again. Is it too soon to return?!What I always order: -Vegetable Samosas w/extra tamarind sauce -Chai Tea -Chicken Tikka Masala - medium spice bc mild spice = zero spice -Garlic Naan Parking: An abundance -- there's a lot! Service: Always great.

In the mood for Indian food one night I ordered my favorite, Lamb Palak, with some new-to-me extras. The tender chunks of lamb are plentiful (I did have some unwelcome gristly pieces) and served in a rich, sumptuous spinach sauce with basmati rice. I also like to eat it with bites of naan. The Garlic Naan with butter was a little bland and I found myself wishing I had some kind of chutney with it. Not that it stopped me from eating it all, lol. Something I had never tried was Paneer Pakora, wedges of paneer (cheese) breaded in chickpea flour and deep fried. It was ok, I guess I'm just not a fan. Overall this was a hearty, satisfying meal.

Indian food has a habit of lately tasting very similar from one restaurant to another. Anyone from India will tell you that it in their own towns the tastes are quite different from on home to the next. Why? Because of not just ingredients but how we time the oil, spices, onions, garlic, ginger and the main vegetables etc.To that end it's definitely good here and better than most. Looking forward to the day where we celebrate flavor diversity vs playing it safe.

The food was all amazing here! The chicken samosas were stuffed to the brim. And they weren't greasy. This was my first time having Karahi. It was sooo good!! You can taste the ginger. The spices were perfect. My only complaint is they need bigger bowls. I spilled the Karahi on the table once I put my spoon in to dish some out. This was also my first time trying chili naan. I thought it would have a chili rub on it. But instead they bake jalapeños into the bread. It was very spicy but very good! It would still have been nice to have like a chili oil or something on it. The restaurant was nice inside. Everyone was very attentive. Service was good. I also like that they have an option to pay using a QR code on your check. Convenient and easy to pay! Overall, great experience and delicious food!

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEYFOODWe ordered lamb rogan josh ($17), chicken briyani ($20) and naan ($5). The lamb was very chewy and bland, chicken briyani was tasteless, and naan was extremely buttery, yuck! Oh and we asked for a raita (normally free and comes with briyani at other restaurants), but they charged $4.SERVICEThe waitress brought the food and disappeared, didn't bother to check-in. She didn't even mentioned that raita was $4 and when I politely asked to remove that charge, she rudely said no and made an angry face. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
